Southern Crossroads Garden Center And Greenhouse

I contacted Eric Simo, the owner, about getting some trees planted as we had lost one to the wind storm last winter and our other one was dying. The bid he put together after visiting my property was for up to 5 trees, with each tree clearly listed, priced (with options for different sizes on some), and the labor associated with each. We selected a 2" diameter red oak, a 2" diameter eastern red bud, and the 6-7' tall Japanese bloodgood maple - the first 2 of which would have been impossible to install for us. Once I had accepted the bid, he was able to schedule us for installation in less than 2 weeks. We paid 50% upfront for materials. The next week, the utility locating service came, alerted Southern Crossroads they were finished, and I was again contacted by Eric to let me know installation would proceed the next day. The day of installation I received a call in the morning to let me know when the crew would arrive and the team was punctual (unlike the Cable company). My gorgeous new trees had been carefully packaged on the trailer for transport, were then carefully unwrapped for my inspection, and then professionally installed. The team staked the trees, mulched around the base of each, hauled off the excess soil, and left no mess. They even dealt with asking my lawn service to come back after they had finished since the service arrived a day earlier than expected. Eric provided detailed care instructions and has followed up already to make sure we have watered them.
