MONA WIRTH INTERIORS

When I first moved to Columbus, I wanted to redecorate the house we moved into. I visited Mona's shop and told her rather vaguely the general idea of wallpaper I wanted in the entryway. She opened two books, and immediately found just what I'd been looking for. I asked her to come to my house and suggest paint colors that would complement my furniture and tie everything together. The colors were exactly right! The house suddenly looked coordinated and quickly felt like our home. A year later I called her again to ask whether she had a suggestion for a new dining table and chairs. She came over and we discussed a few possibilities. The next week she called and said she had been looking at a catalog and found something she thought would be perfect for my house. She sent me the picture and though it was unusual, it was in fact exactly right. She also suggested that we could use two of the chairs and a smaller table in our breakfast nook to tie that area to the rest of the great room. We bought the furniture through her (she gave us a very good price) and were delighted with it, except for the upholstery. The dining chairs' fabric appeared worn, as if rough wood had rubbed across it. Mona again came over, removed the seats herself, ordered replacement fabric and took them to her own upholsterer who recovered them at no additional cost to us. The finished pieces are perfect. A few years later when we moved into a new house, she came over and again helped us choose the correct paint color for each room. We wanted new flooring, and told her what we had in mind. She again came over and measured the floor, discussed options, then sent us a quote for both the flooring and the name of an installer whom she often works with. It beat the price of the carpet store we had also received a quote from, and her installer was an absolute perfectionist. When I needed a new desk and chair for my office, I called Mona and described what I wanted. The next day she had a photo for me. It was exactly what I had described and the price was less than I had expected. I love my new desk and the chair is beautiful. It seems that no matter what I have in mind for my house, Mona gives me excellent advice and can always find just what I want. I've come to count on her. We'll be moving again in a couple of years and I know I'll be calling Mona to help me make my new house turn quickly into our home.
