 + -1 moreHoneymoon Hauling was hired to move a treadmill from the main floor to the basement. Our contract was for three movers. Only two movers showed up at the site. They came with no tools. During the hour, the movers removed a few bolts while expressing negativity toward the job and the impossibility of the task. As we neared the next hour, I dismissed them as I did not want to be charged for an additional hour of nothingness. I contacted the owner, but he never responded to my concern. The treadmill was moved to the basement by kind friends in less than thirty minutes without complaints and without a need to dismantle the machine.
Description of Work: Movers were contracted and paid to relocate a treadmill inside the home. This did not happen as the movers were negative and resistive to complete the job.

 + -1 moreLooking at the good review I hired them but they were totally novice. Made number of dents at multiple places in my newly painted house. Unable to assemble the beds... lost some of the screws. Took 4.5 hrs just to load 10 large and 5 medium boxes and 2 bedroom furniture. They are very expensive too..

 + -1 moreThey sent two trucks and four guys for the move and I thought that the urgency was not there. They bill by the hour and I could tell that they took their time. Look at it this way the company that I used to move from Indianapolis to Columbus charged me thirteen fifty for the work and when I hired Honeymoon Hauling for the seven mile move from a storage unit to my new home they charged me nine seventy five.

 + -1 moreExcellent. I should have made arrangements with the storage shed owner to open a special gate that would have allowed the truck to drive in front of the storage unit. The movers expressed did not complain about my oversight. They did an excellent job with no damage to any pieces of furniture.
Description of Work: Movers moved furniture from an upstairs apartment in Southport, IN to a storage shed in Columbus, IN. The move was on a very cold and snowy day in early February 2009. The surprise at the storage shed was that the truck could not be driven to the storage unit because of the size of the truck. The movers carried each piece to the rented space over snow/ice in less than 10 degree weather. The effort that the three men gave to this move was unbelievable. They were polite and very willing to carry all of the items and place them in the shed in an orderly manner. My husband and I were more than pleased with the work that the movers did for us.

 + -1 moreThe movers picked up the furniture. Items were wrapped either in plastic or blanket wrapped. The move started at 9:15 a.m. and was complete by 1:45 p.m. The distance between the house and the apartment was about 40 miles. The two movers were pleasant and very helpful. They set up the furniture that needed to be put back together again. They offered to move items to where we wanted them and allowed us to change our minds.
Description of Work: Moved from a small house to an apartment. Furniture included bed, tables, chest of drawers, large and heavy wardrobe, end tables, bookcases, china cabinet, chairs, boxes of dishes, etc. Move did not include appliances or a sofa. Apartment is a 2nd floor apt. so there was a lot of items to move upstairs.
