Wonderful! Chris was very thorough and pays great attention to detail. He answers to questions in a very professional manner and often goes the extra mile by giving further advice. I had to ask a few extra questions after the official report was out, and he was very eager to help.

Chris conducted an inspection of the house that we are in the process of buying. I had scheduled the appointment for a time that was agreeable for both Chris and I. A few days prior to the appointment something came up at work that I had to be apart of. Told Chris that my agent, which is also my husband would be there in my stead and he was good with that. Upon completion of the inspection, while still at the house, Chris called and provided me an overview of the inspection. He was thorough and very precise while communicating his findings and recommendations. Once I received the inspection report, I was very impressed with the layout and the level of detail, in addition to the pictures that were included. Chris done an awesome job with my inspection. No detail was too small - all details were included from a bracket missing on the microwave hood to a shingle missing on the roof. Chris diligence and attention to detail was exactly what we hoped for. He provided exceptional service and his price was fair and worth every penny. Chris was very professional. He had great communication throughout the process-from contacting him for an appointment to the final stages of the inspection and getting us the report in a very timely manner, as well as being ready for any follow up questions we had. He was very detailed and thorough in his inspection. I especially liked how he summarized the items that needed immediate attention, so that we weren't overwhelmed like some inspections can make people feel. That definitely helped us decide what to do next, how to negotiate, and exactly what to request of the sellers. I would absolutely hire Chris to inspect our next home or potential home purchase. Excellent and thorough inspection.  Chris helped us find some issues that could potentially be decision making in whether we buy the house or not.  He was very professional and explained, in person and on his report, every detail he was inspecting, what he was looking for, and his final assessment of what he found.  He was able to schedule us within short notice and was punctual for the session and did all of his homework ahead of time.  He provided a very detailed report the same day the inspection was completed!  He also did some follow-up with us after the inspection as we had some questions to ask.  It was easy communicating with him, especially since he was willing to do so via text messages.  I would recommend the service/provider and my agent has stated she will begin using him as well.

Chris was very thorough, and he used state of the art thermal imaging to detect between floor plumbing leaks. He was very detail driven, and he explained every step of the process in a comprehensible, professional manor. He took his time, and never appeared to be in a rush. He showed pride in his work.

I was in the process of selling and decided to have a home inspection so there would be no surprise fixes when we got a buyer. Chris was timely and reasonably priced. He was very thorough, explaining things to me as we went along. He spent a good three hours in my small 1200 sqft house. He went into the crawl, the attic and the roof. He pointed out several things we had missed (like a few non grounded outlets) to major issues (a water leak in crawl space). He even caught an improperly connected dryer vent that I had just paid for. When the seller's inspection came in, it was very favorable and had NO surprise issues. 

Chris spent over 2 hours performing an inspection on our new home and was very open with all information he could provide. He also took the time to walk me through the house and show me all the problem area he found. I appreciate his help very much.

I would highly recommend Excellent Home Inspection Services if you are looking for an honest and knowledgeable home inspector. My husband found Chris' business from all the great customer reviews online. Needless to say we weren't disappointed and are now leaving a positive review of our own. Chris was responsive right away when setting up the home inspection, walked us through all his findings explaining everything in detail, and was patient in answering all of our questions. The termite inspection was included in his overall inspection estimate, too. A lot of other home inspection services seem to add this as an additional cost. Chris was extremely professional and best-priced service in our area.

Great Job

Chris was everything we needed for our home inspection. We are first time home buyers, getting into a tiny 900 sq ft project home. He helped us go in with eyes wide open. We asked tons of questions, which undoubtedly slowed him down, but he answered knowledgeably and patiently. There were so many reportable items on the home (issues he'd include in his report), that he did not have time to build the report as he went, which is usually his practice. This, however, did not effect the timeliness of his report or the thoroughness of his inspection. He even contacted us later with an item he had forgotten to include, which we would have never thought of ourselves. That kind of honesty and integrity is much deserving of respect. His report was not exhaustively long, just right at 17 pages with clear notes and pictures. He took 3 hours to do the inspection (but had to spend personal time completing the report, as mentioned above), which was the time he estimated it would take. His price was more competitive than other companies, presumably because of low overhead. We were very impressed by his inspection and very appreciative of his manner and enthusiasm, even for a dinky little home like ours.
