Our old unit was installed for some reason in our garage which freezes in the winter. I asked John if we could move it into our home where it wouldn't freeze, and showed him our mechanical room. His answer was absolutely. So then I got to the question we all ask as consumers before we even realize what products were buying. Whats it gonna cost me. So John answered the question confidently knowing he had a great product. He told me it was going to be about $1800 for product and installation. In my head, I was really thinking holy cow,I wasn't expecting that. But John made some very valid points.
1. When we shut the water off to my home, we hurd the lime build up inside my water heater bouncing around. As a contractor myself all I could do is think great, gonna have to spend $400-500 there soon cause of the hard water.
2. Our Dishwasher destroys are dark colored dishes and never gets anything clean, and leaves white streaks on our dishes.
3. All our faucets have build up inside them so there flow is majorly reduced.
As a contractor I had to think to myself $1800 now an then we don't have to worry about these things, or 500 for heater, 400 for dishwasher, and constantly buying new dishes. Only made sense and John knew that he had the cure for this. So the deal was sense I certainly wasn't expecting that amount of money, I didn't have 1800 to give him. John said no problem, We have a payment option to rent and or option to buy. So we went with that.
Now come the part that I was extremely impressed on. Someone day before installation which was only 2 days from meeting with John, and confirmed installation appointment between 12-2. Day of Micky (installer) called at 11 and asked if it would be ok to be early sense he had finshed early on another project. Told him that would be fine.
Mickey come in was very professional, wiped his feet at door walked through to get idea of what was going on and then proceeded with work in less then 5 min. It took him about 1.5 hrs to hook up everything and teach me how to use the system, and go over all details. Great guy Mickey is. He went way above and beyond as well as he noticed my bathroom faucet had very low preasure. So he took it upon himself to pull off screen and clean off the lime build up. It didn't stop there though. As Mickey went to my crawlspace to hook up some of the things for the new unit, he noticed that who ever put in my furnace had my condinsation line just empting into crawlspace. So Mickey took it upon himself to run that into a drain line along with his system to kitchen drains. These things sound very simple, and they kinda are, how ever the condinsation line is what causes mold in crawl spaces all the time, from people doing exactly what was done on my unit. I see this all the time, and mold is no joke to play with. We recently did a mold testing in my home and we show 26 units of black mold in the home. This is probably a big contributor to this. So hears Mickey being a hero and he don't even know it. Long story short this company is very well trained from installation to customer service. My wife and I were and are very pleased with everything to this point.
