 The technician Derick arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He performed the inspection in a timely manner and explained in detail what the inspection included and answered all my questions.  We have hired advantage Heating/air conditioning for the last 2 years and are very satisfied with their service. We would highly recommend them to others.

Called Advantage on a Saturday and left a message with the after hours service, which promised a technician to call within 15 minutes. A technician called within 10 minutes. I explained the air conditioner did not turn on and described the symptoms along with some troubleshooting I had performed. He provided estimates for a weekend service, and mentioned he could visit during the week to save us money since the weather was not too hot and the house still felt comfortable, to which I agreed. A technician arrived Monday on time, and quickly found an electronic part to be the cause. The technician offered DIY options for further cost savings. We have an older furnace, and the technician suggested things to consider, including what may fail next, and the options for system repair or upgrade. Overall it was a great experience from start to finish - the advice was honest, the service was quick, and price was as expected.

They are courteous and prompt. They were reasonably priced, and much than the people I used previously. They are personable and really listen to my needs. I found this refreshing, especially since I have had some companies dismiss my concerns because I'm a woman.

Called Advantage Heating and Air at 7am on Sunday Morning and left a message because our furnace had quit the night before.The service tech called back within 45 minutes and was able to arrive at my house within another 45 minutes.The tech checked out the furnace and found a bad ignitor.The tech said that he had the part we needed on his truck and he promptly had our heat back up and working! We really appreciate the quick service at a good price especially considering it was a Sunday!

The technician just left our house, and I cant wait to come here and report the service we received. In a word: top-notch.

It snowed today and the temperature has been below freezing point. Yet at about 6pm we found out that our AC was gone. The thermostat works OK but the heating system was dead. I found a blown fuse on the control circuit board inside the furnace unit, but my replacement fuse was blown right away. There must be a short circuit somewhere but I couldn't find it. It would be 11 degree tonight, and we could not imagine surviving this coldness without AC. We found Advantage's information from Angie's list, called and left a message. We did not have much hope, because it was 7:30pm on a freezing Saturday. To our surprise, we got a call back within half an hour from a technician named Matt, and in less than an hour he pulled into our driveway. He found the short circuit and solved the issue. In less than 10 minutes, we got our heat back. He did not charge us for any materials or labor, just the emergency service fee which he had clarified over the phone. We are amazed by the service we got and their price is very reasonable. We will definitely go to them for our future AC needs.

They did a really nice job. They were on time. They did everything they were supposed to do.

I liked everything about them. They were a little slow getting it done but I think that because of the way the weather was, that was the reason why. Other than that, everything was fine and I really liked them.

My first impression of Advantage Heating and Air was when the business owner Bill Stott came out to give me an estimate and showed up at exactly the time he said he would.He was totally professional with his estimate,giving me his suggestions and advice on which systems I should choose.He returned to his office and e-mailed me his estimate.After dealing with two other companies I decided(from a great first impression and my gut feeling about Advantage overall) that I would hire them to do the work.I am VERY satisfied with the work that was performed by technicians John and Leonard. I can't say enough about their quality of work and always cleaning up any mess that was made.They were always professional,on time and always told me when they were leaving and returning.They also had a great positive attitude.They worked well together.I appreciated the honesty and integrity of Advantage as a whole from the beginning right through to the end.They have restored my confidence in having a job well done.(At least by an HVAC company)I give them the highest rating possible! During annual fall maintenance of a 21 yr old gas furnace in my parents' house in Greenwood (maintenance was performed by another company), a water leak and considerable rust was found inside the furnace. The same company that had done the maintenance provided an estimate for replacement of the furnace and A/C. Estimate seemed high. We then contacted Advantage for a possible estimate. (We live outside of Columbus and have consistently been very pleased with service and staff at Advantage but weren't sure if they provided service in the Greenwood area.) An Advantage representative went to the house in Greenwood and assessed the furnace and A/C, then discussed various types of furnaces with us and provided various estimates. Advantage subsequently did replace the furnace and A/C at the house in Greenwood. We were very pleased with the entire process. /// As another example of Advantage's service, I would like to add the following: Advantage does our annual furnace and A/C maintenance. Advantage had also installed a new gas furnace and central A/C for us in 2007 in our house that we bought in 2006. In June of 2008, our house flooded; approximately 3 feet of water was in the lower level of the house where the furnace was located. After the floodwater had receded, it was clear that the furnace had been significantly damaged. We called Advantage for help. Even in the chaos and high demand for so many services on the days that followed the flooding, Advantage had one of their technicians at our house so quickly and had the furnace replaced and central A/C working once again.

This has been an excellent experience and I plan to use this company from now on, barring unforeseen problems. I called Monday after noon, on the first really cold week of the year, to a company we have never used before, to request service. My call was transferred to Patrick who gave me an appointment for an exact time the next day at noon, and even apologized that he had nothing available sooner. I asked and was told the pricing in a clear way, and the name of the technician. Office staff was pleasant, professional and efficient. Promptly at noon as scheduled, Kurt arrived, put on the little paper booties, and had fixed the problem within two minutes. Since there was a minimum charge for the service call, he agreed to go ahead and open the furnace and just charge me for that. SUCH A NICE GUY! He was very pleasant and professional; good to dogs and people alike. I have been in this town 20 plus years, and I have finally found someone in this business I can recommend. Only one experience with them, but a completely positive one.

My air conditioning went out, I had a contract with Dial One, but they would not cover this problem! Given I no longer liked or trusted Dial One, I called another heating/air business and they could not solve my problem. I finally called Advantage Heating and Air in Columbus, IN and they fixed the problem in 2 visits! The 2nd visit being because they had to order a part, which did not take long for them to fix! I wish I would have used them in the first place, but will use them from now on....

They came on time and fixed the issue. I've had no problem since then.

The guy was very consciencious about his work. He took a little longer than expected but he didn't charge extra. He had a uniform shirt and wasn't wearing torn jeans or anything. I would recommend them and use them again.
