We came across this company at the Ft Wayne Home Show. Interactions with this company were positive there, leading us to ask them to contact us later to set up an appointment. Sales rep was on time and personable. He was a typical sales rep which meant he was very much in aggressive sales mode. He gave us some very good information but part way through I noticed that the window demo he had brought with him did not meet the new federal standards for tax incentives (higher standards than typical energy star standards). He assured me that their windows met that standard but was unable to show me any brochures or paperwork confirming that. Made me uncomfortable as did not want to find out later/too late that they did not meet the standard. At the end, we told him we would let him know in 3 days what our decision was as we still had a few more companies coming out to do an estimate. He tried very hard to get the names of other companies but I refused to disclose. As a result, he tried to guess names and gave me his negative opinions about each company he guessed. None were ones we had coming out and is what I would expect of a typical sales person which is why I didn't give names. At the end, he did not give us a "contract" with all the details but instead wrote on the back of the brochure the number of windows and basic types along with quoted price. Another reason I felt uncomfortable as he was not willing to write all the details down for us to consider in comparison to other companies on what upgrades & options the quoted price included. One thing I did like about him is that he followed up several times to get our decision and also verify that we had stayed with other company in our decision but conversations were not pushy....in direct conflict to what we expected from him given his aggressive approach during demo.
