We got 2 estimates in the early spring & decided to go with Peaks & Valleys since it was local & the estimates were the same. Two months later their representative called & said that the manufacturer had raised the price on the shingles. We said ok. Another two months later they finally showed up & got half the roof on then said that there was a mistake & they needed more shingles. They had miss figured & said we owed $2,000 dollars more. We said that we wouldn?t pay for their mistake, but would work with them. They didn?t show up to work the next day, so we called & after some arguing, we finally negotiated a price. The work was not completed as quoted, but we do have a roof that is dry. These are not good business people & we felt as if we were forgotten about for 4 months & their quote was worthless.
