Everything went well till we got our system running. As we are no experts on any of this we follow the advice and went with what they thought it was best. We paid them well over 17K for the full system just to find out the attic room during the summer still tremendously hot and one of the rooms in the main floor is the same during the summer and cold in the winter. They came back and told us they suggested to do more insulation for the attic when they saw it themselves before and mentioned that it was ok and the other room to run a second duct. They came in for a service and wanted to add a $1K part to avoid the molding in the AC and I was like what 0:? They never schedule us to add the 2nd duct for the room even when we follow up. After 5 years I called them because our AC system is not working and they mentioned it's $130 just to come and look at it because we did't get their club membership. Never again will call them.

The salesman and the installation team were professional and courteous throughout. When I had additional concerns regarding the installation the salesman made a second trip out to my house to explain everything. The installation was done in a day and the area was left very clean. Very pleased.

Technician came out within two hours of my call and performed the service. Very fast and easy. I had purchased the annual service contact and due to a miscommunication HCE did not call to schedule the tuneup, but this has been cleared up now. Also had a small part replaced during the service.

Awesome! I'm in a new home from my last review, 25yr old units. Again I rounded up all the usual HVAC suspects, had 7 of them come out, make their pitch, give quotes, etc. That's a lot of time. Some were very cheap, concerningly so. Some were ridiculously expensive. Home Comfort fell right in the middle, for a pair of Tranes and duct cleaning. Installation went smooth, the guys were extremely pleasant and professional. The sales guy followed up a few weeks later, the office a few months after that. This was a spring install so they sent a tech out to fire it up and inspect for winter usage. Everything went ridiculously smooth and easy. I'd absolutely recomend again.

We had a leaking water heater and decreased water pressure with no hot water. This occurred even though we had 2 water heaters, and the 2nd heater seemed to be working. We had no hot water and wanted it fixed asap. We also noted poor flow from some of our faucets (even with cold water). We had an evaluation done by a friendly gentleman the same day. The flow to and from the leaky heater was turned off and the install for a new water heater was scheduled in 48hrs. It would have been scheduled sooner, but the lead plumber/installer was ill. Trust me when I say, it was worth the wait for Mr. Snyder. I've never had a service provider evaluate and fix so many things so fast, and with such a good attitude. He explained it all without being boring or too technical. The price was quite reasonable. In more detail: Mr. David Snyder came out with a partner and replaced our leaking/broken water heater. He found the inflow/outflow on both of our water heaters was blocked/calcified (we have 2, but only 1 was broken). He also found we had blockage at the faucets. He and his partner replaced the broken water heater and cleared the inflow/outflow blockage at the heaters. He also cleared the blockage at the faucets. He even fixed the buttons on our hottub as the buttons for hot and cold were in the wrong place. He fixed our kitchen faucet so the removable wand now pulls out to full extension. He's scheduled next week to install a new kitchen faucet for us. (We have to pick out and purchase the faucet we want this weekend). Seriously, Mr. Snyder fixed everything I could think of and a couple of things I hadn't. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Most importantly our problems were fixed. Mr. Snyder even went over the services included in the purchase price of the program we have subscribed to with the company. We actually weren't aware of some of the included services as we simply continued the membership from the previous home owners and had never gotten the whole brochure/sales pitch. Excellent! This is the third time we have had Home Comfort Experts out (for three different reasons), and all experiences -- with three different people -- have been great. The employees are professional and super helpful. They take their time and never make us feel like we are going to be spending more money than we need to. We are part of the member club, so they come out for free to diagnose problems, which saves a lot of money. Our furnace is super old, so we will be buying a new one and having them install it soon. Even the people who take the calls are super friendly and helpful. We are very pleased with this company!

They sent the same person out each time, so we have been able to develop a good relationship with them. I really like the way they operate. He comes out twice a year for regular maintenance. We have not had problems with any of their work.

Very professional , punctual service. Just charged more than we've been able to find elsewhere. Would use them again if prices were lower.

At the end of last summer, our air conditioner was not working properly and we were planning to replace it this summer. However, during the fall, our 46-year-old furnace finally gave out. We got several estimates to replace the furnace, air conditioner, and water heater, which was also on its last leg. We had dealt with Home Comfort Experts in the past and had nothing but positive experiences. However, because this was such a costly job, we decided to get several estimates. Home Comfort was slightly higher than the lowest estimate, but the quality of the product, as well as our trust in the company, were the deciding factors to continue with Home Comfort. We received a phone call the day prior to service to confirm our appointment. The workers arrived on schedule the next day and spend much of the day removing and installing our new equipment. Prior to leaving, I was given an overview of the thermostat, as well as the newly installed items. We are very happy with the products and the professional service we received.
During the winter, I called Home Comfort Experts concerning a frozen water pipe. Although they do have plumbing services in their other locations, they were in the process of adding this service in our area. While waiting for a callback, the pipe did burst. I called back and immediately received a call from the on-call professional. He and two other technicians came to our home within a short period of time and replaced the pipe(s). All three of these technicians had been involved in the installation of the furnace/AC/water heater in the fall in one capacity or another. After completing the plumbing repair, they asked about the function of the furnace. We had not had any problems with the system, but we were experiencing a periodic shortage in a few of the outlets in the basement where the furnace and water heater were located. They offered to examine if this problem was related to the installation and replaced a fuse/switch in our fuse box for us. Although not directly a cause, this remedied the problem we were having with the shortage.
Home Comfort Experts is a real asset to our area. We can't ask for more honest technicians or better service.

They were fantastic, they came out the same day, and did all the work. They were here when they said they would be here, and they gave us a fair prices.

We've been using Home Comfort Experts for years now. They do maintenance on our AC, furnace, and water heater every six months. They are extremely professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. During this last visit, they installed a new high-efficiency furnace for us. The gentlemen who were here went above and beyond the call of customer service, installing a new light fixture in our attic while they were up there AND shoveling the driveway. TWICE. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone who is in need of heating, cooling, or plumbing services.

Thorough exam of A/C and heating systems. They get into the entire system cleaning and checking. Do a great job.

Their service person is really knowledgeable, friendly, and polite.

In the spring they come and check the a/c to make sure it has the right pressure. In the fall, they come out and make sure the gas furnace is ready to go. They check the filters and stuff like that. They are usually right on time. They come in and get the job done. They are professional and courteous and clean. They put on their boot things.

My wife was impressed, so I am very pleased.

Matt Dunn (of Home Comfort Experts) analyzed our 35 year old A/C system and explained in detail what had failed and what our options were. To repair the leaking system would have merely postponed a total replacement because the system was obsolete, parts were difficult to find (and expensive), and would have resulted in an old, repaired system that was still 1970's technology and efficiency.
Once we decided to replace the whole system, Matt patiently explained the available systems and their options. We choose to purchase the highest efficiency model. Our old system had an approximate SEER rating of 8, and the new system's SEER is 17.5, so we will be enjoying a huge increase in efficiency.
We also had Home Comfort Experts replace (2) non-functioning roof vent fans with larger capacity, high quality fans, which they also discounted 33%, since they were going to be onsite already. This ended up being quite a chore for them because the old units had been installed with so much roofing adhesive that it was a real chore to manage to remove them without destroying the shingles, yet we heard nary a harsh word nor muttered complaint from the installers.
Gary and Abe arrived on time at 9:00AM the day of installation and worked steady until the job was completed at 8:30PM that night. The outside temp was over 90 degrees, and much higher than that in the attic - even with fans going - yet these guys never missed a beat, never complained, and were professional in every respect. I don't know how they did it, but they didn't even ask to use the restroom all day!
Once the installation was complete, Abe powered up the system and verified that the air emanating from the house vents was the correct temperature. Despite his fatigue, Abe then took a good 15 minutes to patiently explain the functions and use of the new digital thermostat.
Our old A/C unit wouldn't keep up with hot weather over 85 degrees, and would frequently take a couple of days to cool the house down after a hot spell. The new system cooled the house to 71 degrees in just 3 hours!
I cannot stress enough the professionalism and quality of work Home Comfort Experts exhibited on this project.

We first had Home Comfort come more than a year ago for a furnace check up. While here, they checked everything related to our H/A system. The cost for that visit was very reasonable We were so impressed with their knowledge and service we signed up several months ago for one of their "club" memberships. We pay $17 per month and get great discounts on service. They came today for the spring check up with same great experience. I had a check started to pay the technician but there was NO CHARGE! Covered by our club membeship. If we had needed additional service, a very nice discount would have been applied. Consistent quality and they encourage involvement of the homeowner, providing education as they work. They even send an e-mail ahead of time with name and picture of the technician assiged. No surprises!
