Fahl Colors Landscape Design & Build

Chad was very knowledgeable and did a very good job explaining the (more complicated than anyone would think) process of building a retaining wall.  Additionally, he had to coordinate with the fencing people and work around them which gave him moments of frustration, but he was diligent and flexible.  The end result is amazing!  I can not understate my thoughts on the quality of their work.  I smile now every time I pull into my driveway and see the wall, I am in awe of the perfection of it.  The brick wall they built is so straight, the angle at which you see it from the road, any little deviation would have stood out easily.  I know it took them extra effort in getting that right.  I gave a lower rating on the responsiveness review just because it was difficult to get a return call from him.  But in fairness to him, it was in the heart of his busy season and I know that in his mind, he had it all covered and also I needed a bit more communication than the normal job I'm sure due to the coordination needed from the fencing company and there were 3 delays on getting the fencing material in due to production volume that time of year.  Those delays on the fencing end were of course not his issue, but he did a really good job at rolling with the punches and being flexible on the scheduling part of doing his job.  Chad is very conscientious of doing the job the right way which is priceless in my book!

We had an old rotting retaining wall built out of landscape timbers.  We called Chad Fahl (Fahl Colors) based on the recommendation of a friend.  We orignally wanted a new wall built from landscape block - boring but funcitonal.  Chad gave us some other options, one of which was a native boulder wall; which we had not even considered. Chad quoted a price and we came in on-quote. 
Because of the size of the stone used, they had to bring in some heavy equipment to place the boulders. He was very sensative to the weather conditions before begining the job in order to prevent any damage to our lawn.  Once the weather was conducive, he called and stated when they would begin the job.  They began and finished on time. 
The new retaining wall looks incredible.  His team did a wonderful job cleaning up the demo debris.  We were not home at the time the job was done; other than the beautiful new wall, we would have never known they were there.
