Dirt removal was 80% complete. Areas where they could run their bucket loader were done satisfactory. Areas that required hand digging were skipped. Grading back yard in fenced area was 30% complete. When estimate was given owner said getting equipment in area was not a problem. When arrived to do work, could not be accommodated. They dumped a bucket load and smoothed out but did not complete. Spread seed but did not law straw. Instead left me with 2 bales of nasty, insect loaded straw for me to spread. Fill low spots in yard. 80% complete. Did a good job smoothing out some low spots but left me many still needing work. Seeding of low spots and over seeding of 1.1 acres of lawn. 20% complete. Seed spread on spots where dirt was smoothed but over seed of lawn was skipped. Charged me $375 to spread $20 worth of seed Did not even spread straw. Told me they wanted to try seeding without straw and that straw was only needed to keep birds away. There is a bird house right over the area that belongs to my neighbor. Straw they left me was loaded with insects and decayed. $25 charge on bill for $4 worth of straw. Seed did not grow. Area was watered and we have had plenty of rainfall. I have 4 large dirt spots with weeds all in them. Only reason branch piles got done was because I supplied the truck and helped. I had to make them remove trash and debris that was part of bid. All the guy wanted to do was sell me landscape block work...not do the job I hired them for. After the job they did for the kind of money I paid them. no way I have them do more work.
