Basement Waterproofing
This company repaired all wall cracks in my basement and installed a drain system on all walls of my basement. This company showed up when they were suppose to and completed the work on my basement in a timely matter. I had to contact this company to come back out after the work was done but come to find out, the problem we experienced was not due to any of the work this company had previously done however they still repaired the problem without charging us anymore money. Would definitely recommend this company to others.

We called C.KING Foundation & Construction to fix a leaking basement wall crack. Chris King explained the procedure, provided a quote and promptly set up an appointment. Gary arrived right on schedule to do the job. He was friendly, knowledgeable, fast and efficient. Gary left the area neat and clean and provided a lifetime warranty on the repair. We were very pleased with the experience from start to finish...a job well done.

My sump pump was running continuously without shutting off so I left a message for Mr. King on a Sunday evening and he not only contacted me the following Monday, he was also at my home by 11:30 a.m. that same day. He quickly determined that the float ball in my sump pump was stuck and taped it to a shorter length so it wouldn't keep getting caught. The best part - he didn't charge me a dime!
Since I have absolutely no knowledge of sump pumps I am grateful to have found Mr. King. Professionalism, reliability and honesty all rolled into one - I couldn't have asked for a better experience. He is definitely at the top of my list for any future sump pump or waterproofing needs. CK Construction is SIMPLY THE BEST!

They were doing a cracked repair. They repaired it on the inside and then charged me 60.00 for the outside. When it rained my basement flooded again. The job on the outside ended up cracking again and I was not satisfied with the work that was provided.

"Let me start by saying I wish you would have called me so we could have tried to rectify these issues. As our reviews indicate, our Angie's List customers are very important to us and we try to go beyond our customers expectations. We are a family business and when we receive anything other than an "A" rating it is truly felt throughout our company. The extra $60 that you were charged was due to the fact that you had us patch the outside of the foundation where the crack was visible. I explained to you then that even though we use industry standard or above materials it was a patch and that it might re-crack ( I did not even want to do it because of that very reason). 90% of the wall cracks that we repair are done from the inside of the home using our pressure relief method. As I explained to you then, because you wanted us to do a cosmetic repair that had nothing to do with stopping the leaking crack, we had to charge for the extra time and material. I know the wall crack we repaired leaked after a heavy rain and we came out within 48 hrs to fix that issue. Your crack repair has a lifetime warrantee on any leakage. I originally purchased a deal to check the sump pump, over a year ago. There was a miscommunication between the contractor and I in setting up an appointment. When he saw I had written a review stating he had not contacted me, he immediately called. We set up a time and he replaced my sump pump at cost. I was very impressed that Chris, not only admitted his error and apologized. He rectified the situation, by not charging me for his time. I will use him again without a doubt!

We had a miscommunication at first which delayed the work a bit but once we got on the same page, everything went smoothly. Chris and his partner are hard workers...very professional, efficient and diligent. They dug down on the exterior wall then sealed it with tar and a plastic moisture barrier. On the inside, Chris scraped out loose mortar, sealed with a commercial grade thermoseal, sealed air leaks and cleaned up afterwards. We've had several hard rains since the work was done and I have had no seepage.

The service went really well. We had no problems, he came out, and did the job. I had purchased the big deal for $49, and they stayed within the price. They are very punctual. They did a good job, and they gave us recommendations to stuff we could do on the house. They were professional.

The big deal was $49 for sump pump inspection, and they were awesome. They complimented us on the product we had purchased years ago, and that it was perfect and running fine. They made a couple of suggestions for a back up in the future, which we elected not to do at this time. They were very good, and we had no problems. We did not spend any more than the $49 of the big deal.
