We are a family-owned and operated business with over three generations of expertise in foundation repair. Established in 1999, our company is led by co-owners Gary and his nephew Chris. They repeatedly fail to show to finish my project at the slightest hint of rain (even when that forecast calls for light rain), and usually with no heads up. The upshot atm is that without the storm door, the damage to my walkout interior door lets any rain stream right in. Itâ s literally worse in the basement now than it was before they started.

Hired company in November, work was FINALLY completed about 6 to 8 months later and to this day my basement STILL LEAKS. Would not offer any solution no discount or anything. Ended up losing a lot of personal items because after 1st repair was told was good to go so put personal belongings back in the basement area and the basement flooded yet again. Paid over $5000 for a job that is still not complete. Not happy at all!

On 1-11-19 Chris King of C.King construction provided an estimate a bid for installation of 4 window well covers, dig out 4 window well and to regrade yard near house from back door to front corner. Work was scheduled to begin 3rd week of March. On 3/18/19, King sent a team to work on proposed job, led by Gary. Gary showed up with 4 other guys, within 2 hours came, told me they were done with the job, ready for payment. I looked at job and told Gary there must be a mistake, they had only raked my mulched bed by the house and literally that is all. I called my mother Judy, who was present 1-11-19 for C. Kings job proposal. After 2 hours, Gary, gave idea on how the water could be prevented from coming in basement. I did not agree with what was proposed but I am not the professional. Gary and Chris said if this does not work they will go another route. After the work was said to be completed and C.King never came back out to make sure job was done right. Needless to say, it did not work, basement leaked immediately with the next rain. It took 6 weeks to get a hold of C. King by telephone to come out and reevaluate job. While I was pointing out my concerns and property that had been destroyed by his workers, a/c pipe, bricks left everywhere, dirt thrown up against the front side of house, one foot incline which is a safety risk, rock that was not properly placed and all in yard and left all over driveway, mud hole left on side of house, down spouts covered with no clean out and could not tell me where they are draining to. C.King became very angry and threatening towards me. He said If you keep going like this I am going to get angry and you do not want that! I replied, If you can not understand my frustration of spending $1560 for a job not done I do not know what to tell you. After C. King agreed to do the job as promised, on 6-23-19, C.King screamed and cussed at me on the phone, told me he was not going to do the job and I would never see my money again. I feel he is a dangerous man. I have reported to BBB

"First, I have never yelled at or been threatening toward a customer. I truly believe this lady needs medication. I almost did not take the job due to her high intensity personality. she was very pushy and high strung during the entire process. I only took the job because her mother is a very wonderful realtor I have done work for before. After dealing with this lady, I feel sorry for her mother. She has informed me that she has attorneys In the family and that she will sue me. She knows she is wrong and we are eagerly waiting our day in court which I'm sure will never come. Sometimes good contractors come across unstable people"

Concrete Foundation Repair
Chad worked on my patio that had been cracked and he dug out old concrete and replaced with new. He prepared the area for finishing later when I would be able financially. He and his crew worked very hard and the cost was very reasonable for the job. I would definitely recommend C. King Construction to everyone. I need to add this was not a foundation repair but a repair of broken concrete patio. Thank you.

Before we painted our brick home we wanted to repair the stucco (parging) on the foundation. We live in St. Matthews. Home was built in the 50s. Parts of the foundation were missing the top ledge, other parts were just chipped off and/or shoddy looking from the previous owner's DIY work. C. King Construction fixed all the issues, squared off the edges, and even textured the stucco to look like the concrete not getting repaired. The guys explained what they were doing and were friendly. The owner is a good, honest guy.
