Unfortunately, I made the contractor stop before the job was finished. Instead of removing the old trees that had grown along the fence row, he moved the fence a bit beyond the old fence line (onto my neighbor's property.) He is correct in saying that the contract does not say that he would need to remove the trees. However, I had expressly told him that I wanted that done before he gave the final quote over the phone. I also wanted a row of barb-wire on top. There was no room for the barb-wire. The replacement woven wire fence was not up to my standards. I had some left over fence in my barn from my previous fencing job. I told him he could use that. It was the kind and quality I wanted on the new fence. Unfortunately he chose not to use that fence and the kind purchased was not as good. I think the company deserves another chance. Make sure you spell everything out clearly in the contract (seems like I'll never learn.)
Description of Work: Tear out 750' of old farm fence and replace with new woven wire fence for cattle.
