Chesterton Small Engine Repair

Owner picked up snowblower in early winter and returned running in about a week. The oil was also changed without prior approval by me. Machine was laid up for the winter for lack of snow. When I opened my equipment shed in the spring I found machine had a serious gas leak. Machine was again picked up and kept all summer. It was returned in late fall. It was left in my driveway without letting me know it was to be delivered. I found a small hose left hanging below the carburetor/control cover. I was told, by phone, this was a crank case vent tube. It turned out to be a primer hose from the primer button to the carb and it was left against the carb , burning a hole in the hose. The carb was also leaking with a good amount of gas on the underside of the carb bowl. When I called the owner, Dave, he told me his truck had to go into a shop for work and would be ready in a bout a week or so. Follow up calls during the month of November and a good part of December went unanswered. The last call was in early January 2020 and has not been not been answered. The carb is still leaking. My next step is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
