Hoosier Skylights

Great! Got the desired Monday appointment we needed. Installer was great, polite, professional and did his work efficiently and neatly installing two solar attic vents. We will strongly consider installing one or more solar skylights with this company!

There was no sales pitch involved as we already knew what we wanted.  Picked Hoosier off of Angie's list ratings. Called one day, and fans were installed the next. Tony, the salesman, helped us determine which size/model was needed using attic footage, roof pitch, and direction of sun. He educated us and demonstrated how little sunlight was necessary to operate.  He also shared verbally, and by form, the energy tax credit allowed with installation.  Have not gone through a hot period to determine effectiveness, but anticipate noticeable differences.  

After obtaining the estimate for the Solatube with the light and exhaust fan options, we scheduled installation.  Tony contacted us promptly to set a date and arrived on time.  Installation was straightforward and they cleaned up perfectly. We had also been interested in the solar attic fans as our upper level gets very hot in summer, so about two weeks later we had two of these installed, again by Tony and his crew.
While Tony was in the attic space he drew our attention to some leaks around our chimney that we were unaware of.
We are very happy with both the Solatube, which has brightened a dark poky bathroom as well as the hallway outside, and the attic fans have considerably reduced the temperature upstairs. Hoosier Skylights was very easy to deal with and very responsive with call-backs, estimates and scheduling.

Tony and helper came out on July 9,2015. installed 2 1600 solar star roof mount fans. We have a 2 story house and the up stairs gets very warm. This is a product  is tax deduction.
