Contract and specification development was professional, and very comprehensive. Structural issues with the shed dormer were evaluated by an engineer, and the design validated before the pricing was final. Weiss has a specialist (Amy) responsible for the selection of materials and the esthetics of the design details. She was amazing, helpful without being pushy, but keeping us from becoming the critical path by our indecision. The principle (Greg) was a commanding presence. He had absolute control of his sub-contractors, the sequence of the project, and the coordination of the delivery of materials. The two of them were very effective as a team, visited the site daily, answered questions quickly and completely. The project had an impact on virtually the entire house, and was a real stress test for us. But we always knew the plan, the schedule and what to expect by when. Weiss has a group of sub-contractors that know Weiss' expectations and have a history of solid performance. This seems to be the major difference. A general contractor that knows how to facilitate the work of a diverse and professional set of quality subcontractors. Weiss was not the low bidder on this job, but the end product, the schedule and the total experience were exceptional. We would recommend them for anyone considering a substantial and complex remodel or renovation.

Some years ago they remodeled a whole section of my house.  My husband has used them more recently than me and he was quite pleased with them.  They redid the garage.  Their quality was fine.

It went perfectly, on budget and on time.  The subcontractors were managed very well, having them out to consult with me, then adjusting their times to co-ordinate a very rapid job.  Greg was in contact with me three or four times a day and was on site every day.  He had many good ideas on how to improve on my concepts.  

I worked with Greg on a kitchen remodel and home renovation. The design and work that he did was incredible. The job ran like clockwork and the clients were very pleased. we started with another contractor who made many mistakes, and found Weiss construction to help us finish the project. He was great! The job was completed, he followed-up and addressed any concerns. He also helped us do it cost-effectively. we are now using him to do other projects.

They are very good to work with, neat and customer focused. They are very detailed oriented. They clean up daily after finishing.

Work went well overall. They stuck to their estimated time-frame of 5 weeks, checked in with us and cleaned up daily. They had limited options for cabinetry, counter tops and closet hardware, which was fine with us since we didn't want to run around to different stores to chose. Worked to our specifications with terrific sub contractors. Underestimated cost of rewiring and installing smoke alarms, which was the only hitch we encountered. We will use them again if we remodel again.

We contacted Greg Woods who got us in contact with an interior decorator. We told them what we wanted and we went to the granite manufacturer to pick out our stone. The process was really easy and painless and the finished job was exactly what we wanted. The work went fast, three days to install, and the workmen did superior craftsmenship. We had new counters, back splash, lighting, electrical outlets, sink, and hot spot installed.

They were easy to work with and the addition looks great!
