 + -1 moreIt disturbs me when I'm told to go to the web for information. This is a major cop out. Over a hundred of our cards went through the postal system with out a problem. 6 of the 7 that came back was denied by the Caramel, In. post office. Evidently Scrooge lives in Caramel. I hand delivered the returned cards with the postal sticker on them. In explaining why they're late I got an unaminous "you got to be kidding". Evidently, one needs to consult the web sight to see if the mailing meets the U S POst Office standards.?
Description of Work: We sent out about 115 Christmas cards that we had made. Of these 7 were returened. 3 from 46033 (Caramel, In.) 3 from 46032 (also Cramel) and 1 from 46060 (Noblesville, In.). When inquiring of the Post Master in Lebanon, In. 46052 I was informed that since the length along the bottom (4 3/4 inches) was shorter than the height (5 inches) they needed to be hand post marked since they would not run through the cancelling machines. Therefore, they were returned for an additional 20 cents postage. He was surprised that the rest had not been returned or sent on for additional postage. When I commented that this information should be posted I was informed that I should have checked their web sight and there would not have been a problem. In inquiring of those who have received the cards, none had been delivered postage due. All found it crazy that some had been returned.
