We sold and purchased before the market turned. Our house ended up selling for what he thought it would and he really helped us get the home we wanted with a few compromises since we were looking to maximize our investment. Now that the market is in better shape, we are extremely grateful for the advice he gave us through the entire process and are very comfortable with the decision that we made then. I am sure there were many times that we drove him crazy but he was always professional, honest and got back to us very quickly.I would consider us to be extremely high maintenance and he worked very well with that. He continues to be responsive to questions and needs as they arise and keeps us up to date with what is going on with the housing maket in our neighborhood. His service before and and quot;after the saleand quot; is excellent.

As I reflect upon our transaction, a couple of things regarding Price and Quality come to mind: I sold your house in less than the average days on market (sold it in just 53 days) for 97% of our original list price. I also spent MANY hours "digging up" documents from your previous transaction of more than 5 years ago, which saved you a substantial amount of money since you didn't have to bring in contractors to do the same work over again. I believe in doing everything possible to help my clients and if it means going above and beyond the normal call of duty, then I'm happy to do so. I believe this type of work is why I have had a successful real estate career for 11+ years and why I earn over 75% of my business from referrals from previous clients. He was a straight shooter. He was very enthusiastic. He did not try to cheat us. He was willing to listen to us rather than push the property for a low price. I rate him high overall. I would recommend him to anybody who wants to sell a house in this city.

I moved from the Dallas, TX area to the Carmel/Westfield, IN area to be closer to my family. Tony Markus was my Real Estate agent for buying my new home. I was undecided on building new or buying existing. We started with Tony and I meeting to discuss what I was looking for in features of the home, area of town, price range, etc. Tony took me to look at a number of existing homes to give me an idea of what was available within my price range. I eventually decided to build new, so Tony advised me on which builders he felt were the best, and what areas of town best fit my needs. Through out the process of picking the lot, the floor plan, the options, etc. Tony was available with advice and suggestions based on his experience with the builders and his knowledge of the local market. Tony was a great help when it came to points of negotiation with the builder and with making sure the builder followed through with promises.
Tony is a great guy to work with. He is knowledgeable, patient, professional, and an all around nice guy. I would recommend Tony to anyone looking for a real estate agent in this area. Tony made me feel confident that I was getting the best deal possible, while still working in good faith with all parties involved. Buying a new home is exciting and scary. With Tony on my side, I was able to focus on the exciting stuff and not worry too much about the scary stuff. Thanks Tony!

Working with Tony was a very smooth and pleasant experience. Our home sold quickly in a tough market, so we were able to make our move without delay or worry. The marketing and exposure provided by Tony and Century 21 was professional and thorough. When searching for our new home, Tony gladly went to as many showings as we needed to find just the right fit for us. My husband and I had a large number of questions along the way, but Tony actually welcomed this and carefully explained everything. His demeanor is calm, professional, intelligent, laid back (no pressure!), and friendly. It's obvious that he truly loves what he does, and he simply loves working with people. The ability to reach him by phone or email was excellent; he was always responsive to our needs, and he was great about following up with us every step of the way. We moved up to a much more expensive home with some known maintenance and repair issues (our choice, because we are not first-time homeowners and we loved the house!), and Tony was great at helping to coordinate the projects and follow up to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Overall, working with Tony was wonderful and allowed us a great home-buying experience.

Tony provided excellent real estate services that ultimately led to our house being sold in a soft market with lots of competition. The house was listed in several on-line sites, the local newspaper, and of course MLS. He was very good at gathering information from the potential buyers that toured the house. He pursued the interested parties that warranted more attention. When it came to the bidding process, he played a smart game with the other party that kept them interested without letting them know how desperate we were. The icing on the cake was when we had to leave the country the week before closing. During the final walk, through the buyer demanded a last minute item that required a contractor to repair. Tony took it upon himself to make sure the work was completed. He talked to the other agent and asked if she would split the cost. She wouldn't, but he still offered to split it with us out of his own pocket since we weren't there to approve the work. Way to close!
