Description of Work: Steve made a graduation DVD for my daughter's high school graduation using 100 photos and 4 songs that we took to him.

 + -1 moreBoth my husband and I were extremely pleased with Steve and his work. We would have him do this again in a second and think anyone would be pleased with his work. We recommend him highly.
Description of Work: Came to home to photograph large family. Did formal presentation of pictures in our home. Had portraits made for each separate family. Advised on location to hang portraits and hung them himself. Also created Christmas cards from the photos taken.

 + -1 moreONCE AGAIN, OUR EXPERIENCE WITH STEVE SWANSON'S PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY SERVICES WAS EXCELLENT! OUR ENTIRE FAMILY ORDERED COPIES OF THE VIDEO - ABOUT 12 COPIES IN ALL. EVERYONE WANTED ONE. THIS IS SOMETHING I WOULDN'T HAVE THOUGHT TO DO UNTIL IT WAS ADVERTISED AT OUR HIGH SCHOOL, AND NOW I CAN'T IMAGINE NOT HAVING THIS RECORD OF EACH OF THE BOYS. A COMPLETELY THOROUGH AND PROFESSIONAL JOB WAS DONE. WE GOT MORE THAN WE EXPECTED, AND WE'RE VERY GRATEFUL!
Description of Work: WE HAD A VIDEO (DVD) MADE FOR OUR SON AND HIS THREE COUSINS WHO GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL. THE PICTURES WERE COORDINATED TO MUSIC THAT EACH BOY CHOSE HIMSELF. TITLINGS WERE DONE, TRANSITIONS FROM ONE BOY TO THE NEXT WERE SMOOTH, DVD CASES WERE CUSTOM-MADE, AND THE DVDS THEMSELVES HAD THE PHOTOGRAPHS USED IN THE VIDEO PRINTED ON THEM! THE DVD WAS ALSO MADE TO LOOP SO THAT WE COULD SHOW IT AT OUR GRADUATION OPEN HOUSE WITHOUT HAVING TO MAN THE DVD PLAYER.

 + -1 moreWITHOUT HESITATION, THIS IS WHAT WE'LL DO FOR OUR YOUNGER KIDS WHEN THEY'RE SENIORS. WE'VE NEVER HAD SOMEONE CATER TO OUR KID'S INTERESTS/STRENGTHS (PHOTOGRAPHICALLY) LIKE STEVE DID. THE PICTURES WERE INCREDIBLE! PICTURES THAT I'D NEVER HAVE DREAMED WOULD LOOK GOOD HAVE TURNED OUT TO BE SOME OF OUR FAVORITES! STEVE SEES THINGS THAT MOST PEOPLE DON'T WHEN IT COMES TO BRINGING OUT THE BEST AND MOST FROM A SUBJECT. ORDERING WAS INCREDIBLY EASY (CHOOSING WAS THE HARD PART AND TOOK US THE MOST AMOUNT OF TIME) USING HIS ONLINE SERVICE, AND WE HAD THE PICTURES QUICKLY. WE'VE HAD STEVE DO FAMILY PORTRAITS IN THE PAST AND WE GET COMPLIMENTS ON THEM EVERY TIME PEOPLE VISIT OUR HOME. HE'S NOT JUST PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, AND FUN TO WORK WITH, HE TRULY HAS A GIFT FOR PHOTOGRAPHY.
Description of Work: STEVE TOOK MY SON'S SENIOR PICTURES. HE ADVISED US ON WARDROBE CHOICES AND USED SEVERAL DIFFERENT COMMUNITY LOCATIONS INCLUDING THE HIGH SCHOOL (INSIDE AND OUTSIDE), DOWNTOWN CARMEL, AND PARKS. HE TOOK OVER 100 SHOTS FOR US TO CHOOSE FROM. THE ORIGINAL OUTSIDE SHOOT WAS IN THE MORNING. STEVE WASN'T THRILLED WITH THE LIGHTING AND SUGGESTED ONE MORE SESSION IN THE AFTERNOON FOR THE DIFFERENCE IN SUNLIGHT. WE ENDED UP BUYING PICTURES FROM EACH OF THE SHOOTS, AS WE LIKED THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF LIGHT THAT THE MORNING AND AFTERNOON SUN BROUGHT TO THE PICTURES.
