Knife sharpening
When I called Sur La Table,they indicated that depending upon how busy they were at the time that I would bring my knives in, I would either have to leave them and then pick them up later in the day or they would be able to sharpen them while I was in their store. Luckily, they were not busy so I browsed the store until my knives were sharpened. They are much sharper than what they were and they were very helpful on what we could do to keep them sharp as long as possible. Unfortunately, they are no longer running any price specials but they may in the future. As a FYI, they do not sharpen oriental knives as they do not have a sharpener curved to sharpen these blades.

Knife sharpening
My Henckels knives are nice and sharp again, and it was done overnight at a great price! The regular charge is $1 per inch of blade sharpened, but they run specials once every Spring and once in the Fall, call ahead for exact dates. The special is that they will sharpen your first 2 knives free, then the rest are done at the regular price. They were nice about it and sharpened my 2 longest knives for free, so I got quite a deal! What normally would have cost $25 was only $9 during the special!
