Came to house and hooked up to our outdoor water spigot and started cleaning carpet. Apparently our spigot had frozen over the winter and when they turned on the spigot water started leaking into our basement garage. This went unnoticed by Stanley Steamer for over an hour while they cleaned carpets upstairs and in our basement. So for over an hour water was spraying into our insulated drywall ceiling and leaking and pouring water out of the ceiling and light fixtures. When they finally noticed, they told my wife (You have a big problem). They called their water remediation people out to take a look and they said they couldn't do anything until we had the broken water line fixed and to call them when it was repaired. My wife attempted to talk to the manager on the day of the damage and the following day and a third time and was told all three times that he was in a meeting and would call back within 10-15 minutes but has never called us back. We had another company do the water remediation and are facing over $6,000 in damages between the drywall and insulation removal, drying out and replacement and painting of the drywall. All this time Stanley Steemer refuses to even talk to us. We have been told that as part of the training for the carpet cleaners, they are to crimp their hose when they hook up to an outdoor spigot and listen for running water to verify that there is no leak in the spigot line that they are hooking up to. These guys obviously did not follow that training and caused over $6,000 damage to our home. Then to add insult to injury, the manager will not even return a phone call or offer to even help in the cleanup even though their company does water damage remediation. We want Stanley Steemer put in the penalty box for their unprofessional actions. We will also be following up with complaints to the Better Business Bureau and a small claims lawsuit.

They get the spots out from what my dog leaves on the carpet. They have always done a good job and I will continue to use them.

I have them come out to clean my carpets under a service agreement. This was my final cleaning under the agreement from last year. It seemed that the technician was more interested in getting me to sign for another year than actually doing the job I hired for. They wouldn't even start cleaning the carpets until I made a decision about the service agreement for next year. They did and good job cleaning the carpets but failed to put my furniture back where it was, chairs were left in the middle of the room, many furniture legs had no protection from the wet carpet. I've had them out here before, obviously, and the technicians were always very careful to put everything back exactly where it was. I'm still not sure if you actually save money under these agreements.

Arrived as scheduled and were good about carefully moving furniture. Disappointed in their ability to clean high traffic carpet areas, even after a followup visit to retreat/clean.

They rescheduled many times and kept pushing back the day of service. They couldn't clean all of my master bedroom, I don't know why they don't tell the customer what kind of dirt they cant clean in the beginning. The also couldn't clean walking areas or my stairs.

They left the couch in front of my bedroom door. I use a walker to get around and I could get in my bedroom. They did come back out and move it. They also didn't put the things under the furniture. So the second group that came out put them under the furniture.

They do a good job, show up when they say they are going to. They always explain everything in detail what they are going to do. They also have us take a look to make sure everything looks fine when they are done. I would recommend them. Very polite and professional.
