SLM Homes, LLC is currently led by Steve Moed. SLM Homes was established as a custom home building firm with quality at the forefront. Steve Moed has been building some of the finest custom homes in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas for the last 25 years. SLM Homes has brought the highest degree of quality and customer satisfaction to the home building industry in the Hamilton, Boone and Marion counties. SLM Remodeling, LLC and SLM Realty, LLC were also established to bring a broader range of services to our clients. SLM Homes, SLM Remodeling and SLM Realty work together to provide our clients with an entire range of home possibilities from building, buying, remodeling, restoring, refurbishing, updating and simplifying. SLM has been building a home across the street from me since early last summer.  They tore up a section of my lawn to access water lines.  I was contacted by the owner, Steve, before this was done.  He gave me his word they would repair the damage and redo sod after it was done.  After they left a mess, I contacted him and he assured me it would be taken care of.  I waited a few weeks and nothing was done.  I called him again.  He said they were waiting for the ground to settle and would be back in a couple weeks.  This was last summer.  He never repaired the damage he said he was going to take care of.  As I get ready to go fix the lawn myself, I thought I would share my experience with him on Angie's list.  I can't comment on how well he builds homes.  But, I can say he doesn't finish jobs he says he will do.
