I had quotes for the initial bathtub install from 2-3 other contracters and they all came in $1000 more than Russ.  I actually found him on craigslist, so was a little leary at first, but he has been wonderful and just as good (and even better in some cases) than my angieslist guys!  He also does all the work (either himself or brings in a specialist) so I didn't have to deal with hiring a plumber to do the plumbing, a concrete cutter to cut the concrete, and then find someone to build a tub box and put in the new wall!  This makes things so much easier on me....and he is much cheaper than all of that!
After the initial bathroom remodel was finished, I was very impressed with his work and had him give me estimates to do a lot more.  He has completed some of it and I still have more to do.  In fact, I considered withholding my excellent review from Angieslist until I had finished all of my projects so he wouldn't get too busy, but I have been so impressed I felt compelled to recommend him to Angieslist.
He has been completely professional and always arrives on time and cleans up the mess at the end of the day.  He is a nice guy to be around and I don't mind having him in my home and is great with my kid and dog.  All of the subcontracters he brings in do a great job.
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have work done in their home (especially if you find some other GC's to be over-priced)!  I am particular about how I want things done and he always accommodates my desires and explains things in an easy to understand manner.
