ROGER LUNDY

I called Roger to look at a home in a friend s neighborhood and loved the inside. To do due diligence, Roger pulled about 16 homes for me to consider; I selected 8 to view in person and he set up the appointments around my busy schedule. While we were looking, an offer was placed on the home I initially wanted, and Roger helped us structure an offer that beat the one already on the table! It was a very fair deal - we did not 'buy our way to victory.' He has the ability to see the big picture and know where to focus the offer - what will matter to the seller and what won't. That is key when negotiating - and he takes the emotion out of it, although he's very supportive and a great advocate. When I talked to him about selling my current home, he suggested that I keep it as a rental. It's a down market, I've got a great interest rate, and it's potentially an income avenue with tax advantages. I've been asking folks for years how to better use my money for investment and how to increase my deductions. Roger offered this up when I wasn't even thinking of it! He is a great partner and I will always look to him for help.
