Robert Stevens Roofing

Very easy and pleasant to work with. We appreciated the time they spent prior to installation, providing information and answering questions, which helped us to make decisons on type of shingles and colors to select. Our neighbors and we were amazed at the speed at which they worked. The installers were focused and attentive to detail. They worked consistently until the job was completed and cleaned up our property nicely before leaving. A final inspection was conducted with us, which we appreciated. Several neighbors have stopped by to tell us how much they like our new roof! We highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again for future jobs, such as gutters. In addition, they provide a free 10-year warranty on their work, and that is always a plus.

They gave us the lowest estimate out of the gate, other companies were up to two times as high as them. They stuck to the estimate. They worked fast. They were clean. They were great to work with The communication was fantastic and they exceeded any expectations I had.

He was very good and did a good job. What I liked the most about it was that I did not have to replace the entire roof. He got back to us right away and was efficient. He was efficient to get us the invoice and the invoice got paid today. He is quick, get the job done and the invoice is done. I don't have a basis of reference to judge the price because I have never had a roof caulked before. To me, any price short of replacing the roof was okay. My husband dealt with him directly.

Everything went very smoothly. The worker inspected our roof and advised on what to do to fix the holes. He showed us some of holes we could see from the ground and described the process to fix them. He quoted a very reasonable price and we agreed to have him do the work. Everything was very professional and we are very pleased with the result.

The overall experience was exceptional and provided the highest degree of customer service. When I first called Robert I left a message and he promptly called me back. I explained to him the situation and he was able to make it out within a couple of days, as opposed to other larger roofing companies who told me it would take up to two weeks. Robert came out to my house and ensured the shingles were properly replaced and didn't leave until I was entirely satisfied. His prices were just as good, if not better, than the other companies but with much better customer service. He also gave me a military discount, which was nice. I would highly recommend this handy roofer for any roofing need. I cannot say enough great things about my experience.

Two layers of existing roofing were replaced with new shingles. Also had the gutter on the rear of the house replaced. With the amount of rain recently, the work was delayed but that was not a problem. Communication was very good.

Great to deal with. Rick Campbell was friendly and easy to talk to. The job was done quickly and professional. No fuss. No muss. In addition to gutter replacement, they cleaned the roof and also checked to see if there is any maintenance required or not. Overall I am very satisfied with the results and will definitely use again.

The inspector took his time assessing and gave us several options ranging in price for fixing the roof.

We left a voice message for Mr. Stevens, and he returned the call the same day. He offered to come out and take a look and take pictures of the roof. If we were not home when he came, he would send the pictures by email. After I explained that I had pictures already, I emailed a picture, and he promptly emailed an estimate. The estimate seemed reasonable based on a previous estimate from another contractor. When I asked via email about his availability, again he responded promptly. We did not use Mr. Stevens because a friend who is a contractor offered to repair the roof for free. If we need a roof work done again, we will certainly call Robert D. Stevens Roofing.

We felt the cost was too much for such a small job. The money I paid included $100.00 in repairs - I thought that would cover 2 shingles!

It was a good experience from start to finish. Rob quoted the work and Dana supervised a good crew. There have been no issues. I'm confident that Rob's company will stand behind it's work.

Rob met me to give me an estimate. He also provided a list of addresses that I could look at the color of tile I wanted for my new roof. He was able to start the project within a few days after the agreed upon contract. Very professional work and clean-up. He was pretty clear about some damaged areas that needed addressed with the rafters/frame due to a leaky chimney. Great service and great working with him. Happy with the results.

Arrived a bit late but work was excellent.

Once I called to setup the inspection with the main office, I provided them with our contact information. Rick called back within a couple of hours to setup a time and date. Once scheduled, he arrived exactly on-time to complete the work. He was very professional and personable. The attic access area was kept clean as well (not always easy when working with insulation). He provided the findings and details of the inspection and stated that no work/repairs were needed at this time. No selling or strings attached... He simply asked to keep them in mind in the future. I would recommend this company to others in the future simply on the facts that they were on time, professional, and honest about their findings. That is all you can ask for from a sub-contractor.

Excellent. Done perfectly and very quickly

A very good job! Better than the one that was on before and very well attached, we have had some really hard rain this spring, and it's held up nicely. The thing I like about them as a company is that I dealt with the owner himself and the crew finished within ten days and stuck with the price that was quoted. He returned calls and messages, I was very satisfied all around. They were accommodating, and professional. I am having them out again soon.

It went fantastic! Robert D. Stevens was not the cheapest quote we received but they were well worth the money! Rick was extremely responsive when we called to schedule the estimate and in providing us with the actual estimate. The gutters we had were probably the originals from when the house was built in the 70's. Robert D. Stevens Roofing removed and disposed of those gutters and put on 6" gutters and downspouts on in their place. It has rained multiple times since then and they have worked beautifully and made our water drainage more effective! The gutters have improved the look of the house so much to the effect where multiple people have commenting asking if we had our roof redone! That speaks volumes to what nice, new gutters can do for your home's curb appeal!

Mr. Stevens came out and performed the inspection on my roof and cleaned gutters. He also attached the bottom portion of one of my gutters that had come off. He did this at no extra charge.

All around good experience. Professional and timely.

They scheduled us when we wanted them to. Then rains came and threatened to delay our job. However, they worked over the weekend to catch up so that they could maintain our schedule as promised.

Rob responded promptly and gave me an estimate over the phone (I had a clear idea of the nature of the problem after running a garden hose on the roof where the chimney was flashed and observing where it poured down the chimney in attic.) He was up front about the challenge of scheduling the work due to winter weather, and gave me a date based on the weather forecast. When the scheduled snow melted and the weather warmed for a single day the next week just as forecast, Rob called to confirm and showed up punctually as planned. I did roofing work myself for a couple of summers, and later had lots done as a remodeling contractor. I was very impressed with Rob's knowledge, professionalism, and quality work. For instance, there was a slight irregularity in the surface of the chimney such that one portion was about 5/8" recessed from the plane of the rest of that face. Most guys would have simply run the counter flashing so that it gently bent over this point and been done. It wouldn't have been likelier to leak, and wouldn't have caused any problems. But the person doing the flashing shaped it on the ground prior to installing so that it conformed perfectly to the brick with a crisp, straight line that looked like it had been fabricated in a shop for this application. Nobody is ever likely to see it from the ground, but it spoke volumes to me about the care and pride he took in his work. Rob also had an obvious emphasis on taking care of his customers beyond simply doing what was agreed to. I had told him that I had some shingles saved from installation 7 years earlier that he could use for the repair. After noticing that there weren't many left, while his crew was cleaning up he ran out and got another bundle at no charge so the home will still have a supply of matching shingles in the event of a future need for repair or remodel. I'd give him the highest recommendation for quality, honesty, timeliness, and being great to work with.

The crew supervisor, Rick Cambell, was excellent. He made sure that we were aware of everything they were going to do, he followed-up with us after the first of two days, and he did a final walk through at the end to make sure we were completely satisfied with the job. In addition, the entire crew was neat and efficient. We could not be happier with the work that was done.

They completed an attic and roof-line assessment. The man who came out arrived on time and was polite. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions. He was thorough and did not rush through the inspection. He had everything he needed to complete the inspection. They gave me a wonderful estimate. He even followed up with me through email regarding a product we had suggested for me. Over the holidays, a family member offered to assist us with the work. Had this not happened, we probably would have hired the company to complete the work.

It went well. It was very good. They did a good job. The big deal price was $49. There were no additional charges. They gave me an estimate if I wanted to do additional insulation with their recommendation. I need to do that, but I need to get a couple of more estimates from some other vendors. They were very good about calling and setting it up and calling ahead, so I didn’t have any dislikes at all. The likes were good. They were timely. They called and set up the appointment and came when they said they would. They gave me a written review so it was fine. There wasn’t anything to judge quality on. There was no work involved; it was just an evaluation. He was very professional. I would consider using them again in the future.
