Robert Stevens Roofing

When Rick of Robert Stevens Roofing installed a new downspout on a gutter and did quite a bit of caulking for me on Nov. 7, 20l4, he told me if I had any trouble with it to call him and gave me his cell #. He even caulked where he didn't initiate the work. I did call him due to a drippy place and he came back the next week and thought he had it fixed. No charge. However, when we had a heavy rain, I noticed the place behind the gutter and over the door was dripping again. He came back today and searched around and thinks he found the problem and therefore we hope it is fixed now. Again, no charge. While he was caulking the end of the gutter, he found a bad place where the house joins the garage and thinks that is why the sunroom has always leaked since Indiana Quality installed it. They could never find where the leak was coming from and finally refused to answer my calls. Rick cleaned it out the best he could and tried caulking it, but we will probably need to wait till spring and dry weather, then do the job right. I am so grateful to him for finding the problem of my leaking sunroom. Also for being so caring about getting a job done, even when it wasn't his work that caused the problem. I would highly recommend him to everyone.

It was really different and they did a wonderful job. They are very prompt in returning calls and coming out when they say they will and clean up was great.

Rick Campbell was responsive to our needs and offered suggestions. He and Rob Stevens were on site for most of the work. They worked well with their crew chief, Eric, and the other crew members. The old roof was removed, decking and felt installed and the insulation completed the first day. The shingles and the rubber matting for the flat roof was completed the second day. The crew and the owners helped with the cleanup, leaving the yard clean. The crew members were fun to be around, and polite and friendly to us. Rob and Rick interacted with us and let us know the progress. Any problems with the materials, etc, were resolved quickly because they were on site. The gutter work went as smoothly. We would hire this company again and recommend them to anyone.

Showed up early and worked a 12 hour day. Put in a second 12 hour day on day two and stayed late to clean up as we had a weather delay. The crew was extremely hard working and friendly. Our representative was easy to contact and always returned calls and answered any questions I had. New roof delivered as promised. Looks great! Happy with price as well.

It looks grew and has held up well.

Rick Campbell, a project manager for Robert D. Stevens Roofing, did a great job repairing and cleaning our gutters. He was very responsive to our request for an estimate to clean the gutters but due to a heavy workload was not able to get the job started for about two weeks after the initial estimate. This was not an issue for us but it might help others to ensure the customer knows this at the time of the estimate. Aside from this small glitch, we couldn't have gotten better service. Rick was here for about 2-3 hours repairing the shortcuts the original installers of the gutters made. As a result of these shortcuts we had birds nests at the sight of multiple downspouts which blocked the flow of water in the gutters significantly. We have a two story house with the roof gutters being at about 24 feet. This height was no issue for Rick, which is not a universal response from other contractors who have looked at our gutters and roof line. Our neighbors were impressed with Rick's work and asked for an estimate for their gutters to be cleaned. I would recommend Rick to anyone looking for a professional, quality and well priced gutter work.

Robert Stevens returned with an estimate within just a few hours of our original call, which happened to be on a Friday afternoon, no less! He was already on the job before some other companies had even returned an estimate, so he exceeded expectations from the start. As a property management company, we deal directly with owners of the properties we manage for them. In this case we were also attempting to work within a budget which the insurance company had set. Robert Stevens gave us a price we could all work with and was on the job quickly and efficiently. He sent us before and after pictures of the job, and we've been inside the property since to see that the repair was completed in a very satisfactory manner. Robert Stevens is a hands-on business owner and always communicated with us personally and honestly regarding the status of his progress. We highly recommend him!

Robert Stevens was very prompt in coming to check our roof. He said our roof needed to be reconfigured and he does not do this. He was very prompt in coming to check our roof, and also very kind and professional. If we need the type of service he provides in the future I will definitely call him.

My experience went very well. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable in their field. They completed the job in one day. They were great with the cleanup afterwards and I was pleased with the service. I would recommend this company to others.

I got an estimate from Robert D Stevens Roofing and three other contractors; they were tied for the lowest bid with another contractor, but the other contractor was going to put on Owens Corning shingles which are not as good of a shingle. I called back on a Wednesday to schedule a time to have the work done and they told me that they could do the work on the Monday 12 days from then. This was a fairly quick turn around, but I was going to be traveling, so I asked about the next available time -- he called back and said he could move something and do it on Friday (two days later) which was great. The supervisor was on site for a couple of hours in the morning and then came back before they were finished as well to ensure everything was to my liking. They did an awesome job. They were careful, they cleaned up well, and they worked quickly. Everything was exactly as promised.

Contacted in mid November and left a message. Robert called me back on the next day. Scheduled the inspection on the following week with Rick. Rick provided the quote on the next day after the inspection. Asked Rick to have a sooner date to repair. After a few days, Rick contacted me with the repair date as December 2nd. Rick and his crew came on that day and did their job. Rick gave us some discount in the price as we provided the shingles. He also gave us additional discount. His crew also fixed other minor things with our roof, which were not in the quote. Overall, I recommend them with absolute confidence. Great people to work with.

They did a great job. The team that put the roof on was actually at my house before daylight. They worked really hard and took care of some things that were probably not their job to do. They had a supervisor there for most of the day, Dana, who answered any questions I had as the job progressed. They cleaned up everything. I have lots of plantings around my house and amazingly, they didn't damage anything. (I don't know how they got their ladders in without crushing plants, but they did it) and - the roof really looks great. I couldn't be more pleased. We've had lots of rain and high winds since, and it all still looks great.

From start to finish this was one of the best experiences we've had with contractors. Robert responded to our email request for a quote right away. His project manager, Rick, came out to house and very professionally walked us through options for the roof and gutters. He then committed to have estimate by end of the week with job start within the month. Not only did Rick deliver on all commitments, he oversaw all the work, and answered every phone call immediately. The roofing crew worked long hours so the job could finish prior to some weather coming into area. Each night they left the site extremely clean. We were thrilled with the end product and would 100% recommend this company to others.

The job went well, and I was pleased. The invoice was paid in full. I did not submit a full report in a timely manner due to an illness in my family with lasted many months. During this time we had a severe winter storm of very fine snow (sixty mile an hour wind unobstructed by trees or other homes) in which the air flow venting sucked in very fine snow granules in 3 vents causing my kitchen ceiling to have 3 wet stains on the ceiling. I called Rob, and he responded quickly. After the snow melted. he sent three men to check out the problem. He also contacted the Rep. from Lomanco to help determine what happened, and to come up with a solution for the future. I truly appreciate the responsible manner in which these men worked on my behalf. As of yesterday, September 30 2013, the remedies have been completed; and I am very pleased with the resultant conclusion. This is a testament to the some of the contractors who are A rated on Angie's List, and possibly why they work so hard to protect their reputation and their Angie's List rating.

We called at least a handful of roofers for estimates. By far, Rob was the nicest and most professional of the bunch! From start to finish, Rob and his guys were great to work with!! Initially, we found that our insurance company was offering significantly less than what we were getting quotes for and their estimate on the amount of squares needed to finish the job was also far less. With our permission, Rob shared with our insurance company digital satellite imagery to point out the differences. He also went to bat for us and acted as an intermediary to help us get the full amount of our claim. Since this job was being done due to hail damage from a storm, we wanted to make sure that the work was all covered. When it came time to do the work, Rob's crew started early and stayed late. They also encountered a pretty bad storm on the initial roof tear-off day, but they stayed as long as they could to get as much done as they could that day. They also placed a tarp on our roof to keep out any leakage from the rain. The next day, they were back at it early and by day's end, they were finished, and our new roof looked great! When they left, they left no signs of having been there, other than a brand new roof! They were careful to remove all of the debris and old shingles and also ran a magnet around the perimeter of our yard to ensure that roofing nails and any metal pieces were picked up. We explained to Rob that we were having a party the next day with lots of little kids, and Rob even left the magnet for us, so we could continue to check for nails. Rob's workers were very polite and friendly, and we were very pleased with them. The new gutters came a month or so later, as a result of us needing to get approval from our neighborhood association on the color. We were very happy with those as well. This is truly one of the best experiences that we've had with a contractor, and I was highly impressed with Rob's professionalism and how he helped us through every step of the process, as well as the professionalism and friendliness of his staff. Rob also gave us a great price and honored the Angie's List discount. I have already recommended him to several of our neighbors, including our next door neighbor who has also used him. Great people, and a great company! We couldn't be happier!!!

Rob and his team did a fantastic job! They worked literally from sun-up to sun-down to get my roof put on in one day. The guys were all polite and professional. The crew-chief, Dana was a pleasure to talk with and she obviously knew what she was doing. Another crew-chief (I'm sorry, didn't get his name) was very helpful in getting some close-up pictures of some unrelated damage for me. They did a great job protecting items around my yard and cleaning up afterwards. Rob was prompt in getting back to us with samples, etc. I would definitely hire Rob again.

They did a very good job. I would use them again, the owner gave me a free estimate, was very thorough, gave me different types of shingles I could use, his crew showed up on time, cleaned up and there were no issues. The owner stopped by to oversee things to make sure everything was going okay as well.

I wish an A+ was offered as an optional grade on this company. If so, Rob (the owner) and his staff and crew would have received all A+'s. Rob Stevens was so accommodating and easy to work with. He communicated with us from beginning to end on what we could expect and when we could expect it. His crew was here at 7:15 AM each morning. They got to work immediately. They were very hard workers. In the long days that they worked here, I only saw them take one break (some lunch) in all the hours they were here. They worked diligently and were very professional. They respected our property and every night before they went home, our property was cleaned and thing put away in an organized fashion. There was a foreman on our project., Her name was Dana. She was here from morning til night with the crew of roofers. She did a great job in ensuring that we were kept informed of things that were going on and where they were in the process. All in all, I cannot say enough good things about Rob, Dana and the roofing crew. The whole experience was exceptional. If you are looking for a great roofing company that you can depend on to perform excellent work, Robert Stevens Roofing is the company you want to hire.

Rob Stevens and his crew did excellent work and were pleasant and professional to work with. I interviewed and got quotes from 3 roofers in all. All 3 seemed competent, but I felt the most confidence in Rob and his price was also better than my second choice, Rob had a supervisor on site and he checked in every day. I am completely satisfied with the work.

Robert and his crews were professional, prompt, responsive, and highly skilled. When getting estimates, Robert told me that his "standard roofing job" included many extras that other companies treated as add-ons at additional charges. As we reviewed the proposals and observed the job, he was correct. The roof and gutters were installed exactly to industry standards. We highly recommend this company.

Excellent from start to finish. I got four different roof bids and Robert Stevens Roofing Company was the best because it included the storage shed and he didn't ask me to do anything. He promptly returned my phone calls (unlike other roofing companies) and was very professional. Mr. Stevens is very conscientious and wants to make sure everything is to my satisafaction. I would highly recommmend this roofing company to others.

Robert and his crew were great from the initial quote all the way to the completion of the job. Robert came out quickly to give us the estimate and came in $5,000 below our highest bid. We got 5 different estimates ranging from $9700-$14,500. Once hiring him for the job we were able to be scheduled within a week (he had cancellation and was able to work us in). Materials arrived promptly, the crew was there bright and early and finished the job in one day. Great clean up! We had a roof replaced on our previous home and that roofing crew left so many nails in the yard I had to replace tires on my riding lawnmower. With Robert's crew we didn't even find one nail. Very, very pleased with the work. Our roof looks great and would certainly recommend them.

Very good experience, end to end. Everything from the estimate, to the work to the follow up was done well. Attention to detail was first rate. I would not hesitate to use Rob Stevens again, and would gladly recommend his company's work to others.
