+ -1 moreGreat! Dan came out right away. He offered to do the repair at a reasonable price. We asked for a quote to replace the unit, which we needed to do but didn’t think we could afford. Turns out we could! He did not try to pressure us to do more work than needed done. Dan is honest and respectful, punctual, and I would definitely hire him again!

Description of Work: Our current preventative maintenance provider (shall not name here) was trying to tell us that our 8 year old furnace needed to be replaced. Another provider for our household recommended that I give Dan a call for a second opinion. Which we did, and we're glad for it.

+ -1 moreWe are from AZ and A/C is very important... I have not worked with a better, more honest or more competent A/C contractor than Dan. Honestly, many of them cannot be trusted (it is one of the top trades taught in prison... so buyer beware).
Description of Work: 2010- he managed to salvage my ancient a/c units with scrap parts he had from another job... he bought me another year on one unit and 2 years on the second... 2011- my one unit had to be replaced inside and out... $4500 2012- my second unit had to be replaced inside and out... $4500 2013- moved to a new home... Dan came and did an inspection of the new homes a/c system free of charge... later that year, i was redoing my patio and Dan came and disconnected my a/c unit and got it out of the way so the patio guys could get their work done... once the patio was done... Dan came back and got the A/C unit all put back in place etc... $125-$150

Did not recommend all bells and whistles, but only what was required. Performed Install on time, did a great job. Had to call him back out for a minor adjustment after install, and was at my house on a Sunday afternoon 20 minutes after call for no charge. Great response and great service.

+ -1 moreHe showed up on time, inspected my system, told me what I could expect my cost to be, and then repaired it for that amount. I will only use and recommend Residential Heating and Air from this point forward. Straightforward, Reliable, Honest, Affordable......what more can you ask for.
Description of Work: I had a maintenance service contract with a larger local heating and air company. That company came out to do their bi-annual service inspection that I had previously paid for. They informed me that it would be an additional $74.00 just to hook up a pressure gauge to see if I had enough freon in the A/C. This test literally took less than 2 minutes, to determine that my system was low on freon. The technician then proceeded to tell me that it would be about an additional 500.00 to isolate the source of the leak, and probably 2,000 to fix the leak. He recommended an entire new cooling system. The tech then represented something to the effect that he couldn't just add more freon, due to EPA regulations. THAT'S WHEN I CALLED RESIDENTIAL HEATING AND AIR FOR A SECOND OPINION RESIDENTIAL HEATING AND AIR FIXED MY A/C FOR ONLY $113.00 on June 7th, and a month later it is still cooling my house great!

+ -1 moreDan showed up on time as promised and removed our old furnace, coil, air conditioner and humidifier, and installed new equipment. He was very knowledgeable and honest. Only time will tell how good this equipment is, but I believe he would not have sold me this equipment if it were not good. One of the selling points of this equipment was the extended warranty that was provided. There was a 5 year warranty that was doubled to 10 years by the manufacturer on parts, and a 7 year no hassle replacement warranty on this equipment.
Description of Work: Removed old furnace, coil, air conditioner and humidifier, and installed new equipment.

+ -1 moreI FELT MR. BELCHER DID A VERY THOROUGH JOB OF INSPECTING MY FURNACE AND I FELT HE DID A GREAT JOB OF POINTING OUT AREAS OF CONCERN AND SUGGESTING WAYS TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. MR. BELCHER CLEARLY HAD THE EXPERTISE NECESSARY TO TROUBLESHOOT MY FURNACE AND GET TO THE PROBLEM. I WAS PLEASED WITH THE FEELING THAT HE WASN'T JUST OUT TO SELL ME NEW PARTS. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK AND FELT HIS PRICING WAS FAIR. WE WERE JUST VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK...I CAN'T SAY THAT ENOUGH.
