sewing machine repair
 + -1 moreWhen I delivered the machine for service I was treated in a condescending way and the sales clerk implied that I had done something wrong. I have used this machine daily for six years without any problems and had annual service performed at another shop that is now closed. When I brought the machine home I found it had the same problems. I called the store and was told I was using the wrong kind of thread. I took the machine to another Bernina repair shop in Bloomington. When he looked at the sewing sample from Quilt Quarters he pointed out several problems and said "...looks like they just gave up on it." I mentioned that the bobbin empty indication no longer worked and he said it had been turned off. I got my machine back today from the Bloomington shop and it is now like brand new. The service price there was only $69.95! I feel that Quilt Quarters cost me six hours of travel time and $99.95 for nothing. Don't take your Bernina to Quilt Quarters for service.
Description of Work: Requested that my Bernina 730E sewing machine be serviced to correct tension related sewing defect and constant empty bobbin indication.
