Outstanding response and professionalism. This is the second time my roof and gutters have been replaced by PPC. From start to finish they are outstanding to work with. They spent a lot of time working with my insurance company on what was damaged and what was a reasonable price. After the roof was replaced they sent out a special crew to do all the cleanup work and pick up any nails or trash that were in the yard. I didn't notice any trash or nails myself because the work crew had done such a good job, but the clean up crew found a few things here and there. The clean up crew even blew the leaves off my deck and porch and swept off the dirt and debris that was there long before they started any work. After the roof was complete the gutter crew came in and replaced my gutters. The color match is perfect. Great job PPC. They are prompt and it was a pleasure to work with them.

The estimate was prompt and fair, lots of shingle samples and options were given and references were provided. We chose to go with PPC because the references were so strong, price was competitive, and as a small business, Bill is the owner, and was on-site for the majority of the one week job. They cleaned up the work area and removed all debris at the end of each work day. Bill is punctual, good at communication and responding to emails and phone calls. The work crew worked very hard every day and were polite and friendly. Bill and his wife performed the final cleanup with nail removal, small pieces picked up, mulch re-raked into place, etc.
A job well-done and we have gotten several compliments on our roof and already referred PPC to others.

I had hail damage a couple of years ago. I needed a new roof and siding. Bill and Prevailing Power Construction did a fantastic job! Bill had a lot of patience as we considered ALL of the potential options and colors for our siding. We ended up replacing the vinyl siding with HardiePlank and it looks terrific! Bill went above and beyond to make sure the entire job was handled to my liking. I highly recommend Bill and his company!

I used PPC for a new roof a few years ago and was extremely satisfied so when I needed gutters I immediately contacted Bill Bauer.. Bill is accommodating, dependable, and reliable. Job well done!

They did a great work. They came out to give the estimate and the estimate was good. They also came highly recommended from my son and their price was reasonable.

It went very well. The best service Bill Bauer performed was negotiating with our insurance company. We would not have been treated fairly by our insurance company had it not been for his diligence in negotiating our problems with them.

I thought that they did an ok job, but they did the work during the rain and we had some water damage issues. I had to deal with water stains on the ceilings and they provided minimal help in resolving those issues.
Response from PREVAILING POWER CONSTRUCTION INC
"We did not do any work "during" the rain. The day we started the member's roof it was a gorgeous day and the weather channel called for a clear day with a small chance of rain later that night. We've had an abundance of rain this year and this was a very unexpected pop up rain storm. We had the roof covered however there was one small area that water seeped in. The member claims - "slow to respond" and "minimal help" I was over at the house within 30 minutes with my crew after he called me and we added an additional tarp. Then I met with the member, apologized, and looked at the small stain in the dinette area. Note: we have pictures of this area. I told the member that my wife would be over the next day to start the treatment. My wife was there the next day and sprayed the area with kilns. The next day the members left on vacation for a week so we could not complete the repair until they returned home. While they were gone I decided to go over and beyond our call of duty and our contract, so I bought additional shingles and we installed them on their large storage shed while they were on vacation, approximately 3 squares. When they returned home my wife made arrangements with them to paint the dinette area which she did the following day. My wife said that they were pleasant and did not complain about any of the work that was completed. At that time they told my wife how the member removed some insulation in the attic. He did this the day of the storm and on his own volition, the first we were notified of this. My wife called me and I told her to tell them that I would purchase a bag of blown fiberglass insulation for them as soon as possible, which I did, and dropped it off at their house within a week's time. Might I add, there was no need to remove the insulation to begin with, it would have been dry within a day or so in their 150 degree attic area but I did not respond negatively, I wanted to please them. I mentioned to the member how we went ahead and did his storage shed as well and his response was, "you didn't need to do that, we are getting rid of it." the member failed to report that we did his house at a legitimate 10% discount on labor and materials and that we added (2) two, homeowner purchased, power exhaust vents on their house at no extra charge. We believe that we went to extremes to do another great job for our customer and we would have appreciated a telephone call first from the member to vent any frustrations before he would post such a negative report through Angie's List."

It was excellent. They did good work at a reasonable price. He gives good referrals for work outside of his specialty. Bill was very personable. He did some extras for me, going above and beyond the call of duty.

They did it on schedule. They were not as neat as I would have hoped - there was a little damage and there were nails left over. They got the majority of it but I don't think they followed all the way through.
Response from PREVAILING POWER CONSTRUCTION INC
"When we did his roof we ran into an existing siding problem that he had. I suggested to him that he was welcomed to use my carpenters, directly might I add, to help correct his problem. He was upset that we would not correct his siding problem, $1,000.00 plus, and absorb that into our roofing quote. Thus, he writes a somewhat negative report. We have hundreds of great references."

They are very quick and efficient. The job was well done and within budget. There was a small amount of damage by them to a screen, plastic siding trim, and in the attic there were gaps in between the seams. They were prompt in coming back and they re glued the siding and the gaps between the seams were fixed also.

THEY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. BILL IS EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH - GOOD PERSONAL ATTENTION. HE PROVIDED SAMPLES OF SHINGLES FOR ME TO CHOOSE FROM, ALTHOUGH CHOOSING A NEW SHINGLE IS HARD TO DO! BILL WORKED WITH ME TO SCHEDULE THE WORK WHILE WE WERE OUT OF TOWN IN ORDER TO ELIMINATE DISRUPTION TO OUR CHILDREN. THE ROOFING CREW WORKED VERY HARD AND FOR LONG HOURS TO GET THE WORK DONE. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK IN THREE DAYS. THE ROOF LOOKS EXCELLENT AND THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB CLEANING UP AFTER COMPLETING THE JOB. I HAVE ALREADY RECOMMENDED THEM TO OTHERS.
