A friend of numerous friends, I approached him with my problem he offered a solution and then throughout last summer periodically showed up and would work for an hour or so and then disappear. He had told me if I paid him in full he would be able to secure all the material and do the job at a discount. Had I not know so many of his friends and family I would have not trusted such a proposition. So I paid him $550.00 and he did 1/3 of the work, then suggested RR Ties for a retaining wall, not in the plan at all. I said no, I even suggested I would go buy some rocks and help him finish the job. Nothing since. I have since learned that this is his typical MO and his family and friends protect him. Its been over a year and nothing, so I feel I gave him every chance I even offered to help and pay for material. Nope nothing, so I am left with a shag carpet yard. Very unusual, very eclectic, very disappointing.
