We've used Maid Brigade for years after using a few other cleaning services prior to. We really like them because they are flexible with allowing us to do "full cleans" along with "1/2 cleans" every two weeks. The full cleans are every room in the house while a half are common areas and bathrooms only. This is great for us as we are a family with two small children and it allows us to always have our house looking good while also fitting within a monthly budget we are comfortable with.

They are typical. We don't always have the same people coming in and everybody has their own idiosyncrasies. I think that their price is fair. If I could get it cheaper I would be happier. It's hard because you get different people every 2 weeks and some people do more than others. Some people, if something got damaged, they would tell me rather than hide it.

Maid Brigrade perform bi-weekly house cleanings for several years and then a whole house cleaning and carpet cleaning when we were getting ready to sell the house. They did a good job and were always on time and very trustworthy.

I'm very pleased with the results. I've been dissatisfied with other maid services I've tried (especially one that broke several items in my home and refused to take responsibility for breaking them). Deanna, the owner, called me after I submitted a request on their web site, and she went over in detail what I wanted done. She seems much more serious about maintaining a long-term relationship than the other maid services, and I appreciate the whole group's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

I have been very pleased with them. They do a good job, I have not compared prices, but they seem reasonable to me. I have requested that the same core group of housekeepers come out each time, and they are willing to accommodate this request.

I thought it went fine. Two women came to do the cleaning. I was at home part of the time they were here cleaning. They worked hard and were busy cleaning. They didn't waste a lot of time talking or rush through the job. They worked at a good pace; not too slow and not too fast. My home looked nice and clean when they were finished. I think it took about three hours.

Horrible. They did none of the detail cleaning we requested. Owner was terribly unprofessional, rude, uncaring and self absorbed. I was disgusted by the entire experience. She offered to come back for a touch up at an additional charge! I have one woman who cleans my house in 8 hours, including all of my furniture, knick knacks, rugs, etc. This team took 10 hours to clean a vacant home, and didn't take care of anything except the floors and bathrooms. They didn't even have to vacuum as we had just had our carpets professionally cleaned. I have never had the displeasure of dealing with someone as rude as Deanna. Her guarantee is a complete farce. She doesn't care whether you're happy with her work or not, as long as she gets paid. Run away from this one and take your checkbook with you!

"THIS HOME OWNER HAD THEIR HOME CLEANED WITH US 6 MONTHS AGO. THE COMPLAINTS THAT THEY HAD WITH US WERE FOR SERVICES THAT DID NOT REQUEST TO HAVE DONE WHEN THE HOME WAS SCHEDULED, THUS THE REASON WHY THEY WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE TO GO BACK TO THE HOME AND COMPLETE SERVICES THAT WERE NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. WHEN CALLING US AFTER THE CLEANING TO REQUEST ADDITIONAL SERVICES THEY DID NOTE THAT THEY WERE SATISFIED WITH THE TASKS THAT WERE COMPLETED. THE PRICE THAT THEY PAID FOR THEIR MOVE-IN CLEAN WAS WELL WITHIN THE ESTIMATE RANGE THEY WERE GIVEN AT THE TIME THEY SCHEDULED THEIR CLEANING WITH US. The wood floors look great. I am pleased with that work. The ceiling fans were dusted with an attachment, not wiped with a wet rag. I had completely vacuumed the floors, walls, ceilings, baseboards, ceiling fans and mini blinds just days before they came. I specifically wanted the floors mopped and the bathrooms and kitchen cleaned. In the kitchen, they wiped down the countertop, mopped the floor, and apparently cleaned the sink. I could not tell because it still has water marks in it. In the restrooms, they wiped down one vanity top, cleaned one tub (never used) and one shower stall, and cleaned two toilets. Apparently they cleaned the sinks as well, but again, there were water marks in them. I expected them to be wiped dry so as to not leave spots. The light bulbs above the vanities were not dusted, nor were the insides of the medicine and wall cabinets. A total of 4.5 man hours (team of 2) sure seems excessive for the little work done. I could have cleaned it better myself.

AS THE OWNER, I OFFERED HER A PROMPT TOUCH UP TO REMOVE THE WATER SPOTS ON HER SINKS BUT SHE DECLINED AND I GAVE HER A PARTIAL REFUND. DUE TO THE SAFETY OF OUR EMPLOYEES, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO CLEAN LIGHT BULBS WITH CHEMICALS AS SHE WISHED TO HAVE DONE. UNTIL READING THIS REPORT, THIS WAS THE FIRST I HEARD ABOUT INTERIOR CABINETS/MEDICINE CABINETS NOT BEING CLEANED. WHEN SETTING UP THE CLEANING FOR HER, SHE SAID SHE DID NOT WANT THAT WORK DONE."

The house cleaners came while I was at work and when I returned the house was generally clean, but there were obvious things missed like the front of the oven, large dried water spots left on the kitchen floor, and the stairwell did not look vacuumed. I found the invoice on my kitchen table for a price greater than what Deanna Erickson had discussed with me. When I called to discuss the issue and my further dissatisfaction with the job, she indicated that her house cleaners reported the home to be more difficult than planned and they worked an extra hour she did not bill me for. I indicated I was not happy that I was not notified of the other "extra" I was going to be billed for prior to them doing the work. When I listed the missed items in the home (most in the kitchen), Deanna told me the kitchen is the last room of the house they work on and likely the room they ran out of time to do. But that was one of the primary rooms I needed taken care of! I will not use them again.

The maids did a good job cleaning my home. They cobwebbed all of the necessary areas and they cleaned the refrigerator like I requested. They dusted and vacuumed very thoroughly and my kitchen was spotless.

The cleaning ladies showed up on time and did a through job with the clean. They worked efficiently and made the home ready for the new owners. I was equally impressed with both franchise locations. It is nice to know that you can call on a company and know your cleaning needs will get met regardless of where you live in Indianapolis.

I found this service to be variable, depending on who was doing the cleaning. Sometimes it was great and other times it was partially complete. Often, they left their cleaning supplies/rags lying around the house, as if they left in a hurry. Deanna always tried to please, but her people are not always as good as she is.

My wife is particular about dusting and she told the folks what to do. The first time it happened, the second time it did not. When we called they ensured us the dusting was done every time and my wife was certain it was not. This went on for three times and was not done to our satisfaction. We thought they were kind of on the high end of the price structure so we expected more.

THOUGHT WE WERE PAYING FOR A THOROUGH CLEANING, BUT WE STILL HAD A DIRTY TOILET, DUST ON TOP OF FRIDGE/MANTEL/DOOR CASINGS/WINDOW LEDGES, DIRTY SHOWER TRACK, ETC. THEY ALSO DAMAGED MY WOOD TRIM ON A HALF-WALL UPSTAIRS BY DRAPING THE VACUUM CORD OVER IT FROM DOWNSTAIRS. THE OWNER, DEANNA ERICKSON, WAS VERY UNCOOPERATIVE IN RESCHEDULING A TOUCH-UP VISIT & TOLD ME TO GET THE WALL REPAIR ON MY OWN (THEY'D REIMBURSE ME... RIGHT!). MY 7-YEAR OLD GIRLS COULD HAVE DONE THIS GOOD OF A JOB, & THEY SURE WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE POLITE! OH, THEY DID SHOW UP ON TIME & RETURN MY PHONE CALLS.

"The homeowner called the office five days after her service was rendered with 10 minutes worth of touch up which I told her we would take care of the next business day. I also told her to have the wall repaired and send me the bill for reimbursement. She said "no thank you" to both and hung up the phone. I HAD A BROKEN WATER PIPE AND THE HOUSE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE. I CALLED THE COMPANY TO SET A CLEANING IN DECEMBER, BUT SINCE THE WORK FOR THE CONSTRUCTION WAS NOT COMPLETE I NEEDED TO CANCEL THE HOUSECLEAN. UPON TRYING TO CANCEL THE APPT I WAS INFORMED THERE WAS A 48 HOUR CANCELLATION NOTICE THAT I WAS NOT INFORMED OF. THEY NEVER CONFIRMED A TIME AND I CALLED ON A MONDAY AND THE APPT WAS WED! WE WENT BACK AND FORTH FOR A WHILE UNTIL SHE (DEANNA) ALLOWED ME TO SWITCH THE APPT. THEY SWITCHED IT TO THE 29TH OF DECEMBER. MY SON WAS THERE WHEN THEY SHOWED UP I WAS NOT, SO THEY WENT IN AND BEGAN "DUSTING." WHEN I ARRIVED HOME AROUND NOON THINKING THEY WOULD BE GONE, THEY WERE STILL THERE, FOR ABOUT 4-5 HOURS! THEY STACKED THINGS WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO TOUCH, THEY REARRANGED THINGS TO THERE LIKING, WHICH I COULDN'T BELIEVE! ONE OF THE WORKERS ACTUALLY TOLD ME THAT THINGS WERE SO BAD WITH THE OWNERS THAT THEY WERE QUITTING! THEY CHARGED ME $245 AND THEY DID NOTHING!!

THEY ONLY LASTED TWO TIMES BECAUSE THE SERVICE WAS SO AWFUL. I COULDN'T EVEN TELL SOMEONE HAD BEEN IN MY HOME. FLOORS WERE SWEPT, BUT ONLY THE CENTER OF THE ROOM. THE MASTER BATH SINKS AND MIRROR HAD NOT BEEN TOUCHED. THE KITCHEN SINK WAS NOT CLEANED. WHAT WERE THEY DOING IN MY HOME THE ENTIRE TIME? THEY DID RETURN TO ''CORRECT'' THE MISSED AREAS. ON RETURNING, THESE AREAS WERE NEVER TOUCHED. THE OWNER EXPRESSED HER REGRET FOR THIS, BUT WOULD NOT CORRECT THE BILL. THE SECOND ATTEMPT, THE COMPANY CALLED TO RESCHEDULE THE CLEANING AND DID NOT SHOW UP AT ALL ON THE APPOINTED DAY. I CALLED TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT TIME AND WAS ASSURED A CREW WAS COMING. THE OWNER WAS VERY RUDE WHEN SHE WAS TOLD HER SERVICES WOULD NOT BE REQUIRED ANY LONGER. OVERALL, THE PRICES WERE VERY HIGH FOR THE LACK OF CLEANING.

THEY WILL DO IT ALL!! I HAVE USED THEM SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM. IF SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT, THEY WILL COME BACK AND DO IT OVER UNTIL YOU ARE HAPPY. THEIR GIRLS ARE HARD WORKERS. THE TEAM THAT I HAVE IS FABULOUS, ROSA AND LUPE COME ONCE A WEEK, OR MORE IF I NEED IT.
