Called owner that evening.. received apology and came back next day. 2nd day work was done very professionally.
My husband added work to the quote without asking price.. that was our issue.
hidden costs on delivery and disposal not quoted.
We paid bill in full after owner got frustrated with having to explain all additional costs outside of bill.. he said we should trust him... why would we when he sent brand new un-supervised and un-trained employees to the job the first day! Trust is earned.
Thinks more of his company that he does his customers...
Owners own words...
"We are a very selective landscaping company that does not just chase every job. We hand pick which jobs fit our model and take good care of them. We drop several clients a year who do not appreciate us as much as we feel they should. We feel it is just as much a privilege for you to be selected as a client of ours as it is for us to have the pleasure of doing work for you. It is a 2 way appreciation with neither side taking advantage of the other."
In other words he wants high end clients that don't ask questions... Beware.
"It is disheartening to receive such low scores in Quality, Responsiveness, Punctuality, and Professionalism from this client considering the email I received from her husband. Below is my email communication with this client the evening of completion: [Member name removed], I wanted to follow up with you to get your feedback on the work that was preformed yesterday as I said I would. [Member name removed] made me aware of the perennials that was stepped on and assured me that it should bounce back fine, but if it totally dies that we would replace it. He also informed me that he is going to install 2 new timers for the lighting. Once they come in I will invoice you for them separately once he installs them. Please let me know if you have any other issues that [Member name removed] may need to stop back for. Thanks for the business and I hope to continue to serve you in the future." "Jeremy, [Member name removed] makes all the difference. The work performed is one of the best jobs I've had done in the twelve years I have hired landscapers. I spoke with [Member name removed] multiple times as the work was performed. He knows his stuff. I look forward to working with you folks in the future. Yes, I did ask [Member name removed] to replace the timers in our light system. Thanks for the good work.""
