It went very well. A diagnostic test was run and we discussed the results. I had to pay for the diagnostic test up front with the understanding that said amount would be applied for any work that was done. Alex telephoned me a couple times to discuss what he found and then explained what needed to be done. We discussed the overall cost and I told him to proceed. Alex was very responsive from my first call and through the entire process. I will definitely contact him, when needed!

My experience with Alex was wonderful. He informed me that my computer had failed and the motherboard no longer worked. It needed to be replaced. While he easily could have convinced me to let him replace the motherboard (which before the service fee would have cost around $600 online), he was honest with me by saying that it would honestly be better if I just bought a used computer in this model online. I am grateful for his honesty and integrity. He saved me money, and I will definitely go to him if I ever need repairs in the future. Not only does he know what he is doing, but he is a wonderful man. We had a wonderful conversation about his immigration story and he really is such a hard working, honest man, and I highly recommend his work.

I took the computer to Alex and he performed a full diagnostic and reloaded the operating system that evening. I picked it next morning...just as promised.

Very efficiently.

Charged fee for diagnostic work. Then another fee for correcting problem. Brought it home, still did not work. Took it back. Again was told it was fixed. Brought home again and it still did not work.

Fantastic. Met Alex at his location and he clearly walked through his trouble shooting process and cost model. I really put him under a lot of pressure. I was very pleased to have him call and tell me the computer was ready...the same day. He required a premium to get my work completed promptly, but it was well worth it and completely understood. His communication was great, as it required many calls between us, in order to fix the issue. I will be back for any other computer related issues, for sure.

Alex identified several problems and was able to optimize the system, assist with a new external hard drive (part of my cost), and made several recommendations to help me manage my system better in the future. He was very helpful on the phone even before I brought in my computer, and was very thorough in explaining what to expect. He updated my frequently by phone on the diagnosis and recommendations and timing of my job.

Was not a simple task, but all files were restored and updates properly installed.

Dropped it off and it was fixed by the next day. It runs great now. Have used Indycomp in the past for other computers and their work has always been excellent and prompt.

Alex called me Friday.  Indeed, it was a failed power supply.  I had asked him to check the whole machine over & Alex found a failed memory module as well (I was not surprised, based upon its sudden slowness).  The power supply had to be ordered from California (Alex offered a used one for less money, however I opted for a new one).  Imagine my surprise that the machine was ready to pick up on Monday.  Totally fixed & thoroughly checked out.  Excellent!

He was very professional. I was very anxious about PC that crashed due to number of personal files, especially those that could not be replaced such as pictures and home videos. He calmed my fears and had the PC repaired the same day! With the laptop he ordered used parts to keep down costs. Intent for laptop is for high school son to use for school work - providing two working computers for the household. Very pleased with services- even received a follow up call the week after laptop was fixed to make sure everything was going well. Excellent customer service! (Each repair was apx $200)

Great service. Explained exactly what they were going to fix. Called with periodic updates on when parts arrived and then when computer would be finished.

Repairs were completed on time. Laptop was returned to working order. I received a follow up call approximately one week later to make sure everything was ok.

I have known and worked with Alex and Mike(brothers) for over 9 years.  They have been fantastic to work with and more importantly to get to know as people.  Both are originally from Ukraine and they have many stories to tell and opinions to share if you want to hear them.   They are so loyal to our country and thrilled to be part of it.  When I talk to them, I feel better about where I live in spite of the issues we all face.  As to their technical expertise, they are tops.  They are quick, thorough, honest and ALWAYS are completely up front about what they will do for you and how they will do it.  I have probably brought my computers in 6-8 times, and recently I even brought in our IPad to have the glass replaced.  They do full repairs on computers iPads, iPhones, Samsung products and will even custom build a computer for you.

Highly recommend these guys.  Great people, hard working Americans, and just plain fun to talk to.

I took my PC to INdyComp before noon, and Alex diagnosed it.   He called  the same afternoon explaining the problems.   He said I could pick it up later that day (which I appreciated).
I had the option of going ahead with the repairs or having the diagnostic charge be applied to the over-all cost of repairing the system (which I did).
Since I have misplaced the invoice, I can't describe exactly what was wrong with it, but it is working fine now!
Alex followed up (by phone) to see how it was working and "walked me through" a minor inconvenience having to do with the control panel.   Again, this gesture was above and beyond repairing the machine on site.

It has been several months since we had my sons PC repaired. It is working better than ever. The next time I have any computer or tablet issues, I will be going back to INDYCOMP

He explained everything and gave recommendations about what to fix and what to leave alone.

Alex of Indycomp provided excellent, quick service.  Situation was that I hoped to resell my old iMac with an out-of-date operating system, but Alex evaluated the computer and said the operating system could be brought up to speed.  This was good news because in the meantime I had decided to give the computer to my two grade-school nephews who live in southern Indiana.  Plan was for Alex to have computer ready by Easter weekend so that it could be taken down to a family celebration.  Alex did the evaluation and upgrade professionally and quickly over a 2-day period, and I was able to delight the nephews with a "new" computer.  They were appreciative and so was I.  Great work, Alex.
Alex also evaluated an older Kindle I wished to sell.  While he couldn't buy it, he gave me an evaluation, and I did sell it elsewhere.
My advice:  don't hesitate to take computers or any electronic gadget to Indycomp.  You won't be disappointed with the service; in fact, you'll probably be as pleased as I was.

I took in two laptops in for a repair and a tune up. He got it done faster than I expected it. It's always a pleasure working with him. He explains everything in terms and on a level I can understand patiently. He is concerned about my welfare and does great business.

We are getting our Son ready for college this fall. He needed to make sure his laptop was ready to go as well. We took it to Indycomp in Carmel, because we have had them do other work on our home computers.. 
We saw Alex, and explained our situation - make sure the laptop was ready and able to do the job, or, recommend a new computer. After Alex had a chance to analyze, the laptop, he called us to say that we didn't need a new product, but we really needed to have all the updates, patches, virus screens, and a defragment that hadn't been done in a very long time.
Alex did the work, and we got the laptop back the next day - ready for Purdue.
Indycomp is fair, honest, reasonable, and very helpful. Alex is one of the good guys.

Computer would not start so took it to Indy Comp PC care in Carmel.  First thing I asked was if they thought it was worth fixing.  After a quick exam, they felt that is was but they wouldn't know for sure until they tested it.  I was told up front what their diagnostic fee was and that would be the labor charge if they fixed the computer.  He promised to call the next day which he did and told us what the problem was and how much it would cost to fix it and he would have it ready for pick-up that evening.  We were extremely pleased with the cost and the excellent service.  We would definitely recommend this business.
