Michael was quick to call back after I left him a message about getting a quote on a mortgage. My fianc and I met with him and he went over several options for our mortgage. In the end, we chose a piggy back loan, which I never knew existed. Michael was great about explaining all the details and when I had a question, I could call or e-mail him and he was quick to respond. In the end, we chose Michael and we got to use our $275 off coupon for the appraisal. I thought we'd have to pay more in closing costs, but it turned out it was much cheaper. Michael also recommended an insurance company for my homeowners insurance. We ended up using his recommendation because the agent's rates were great and she was helpful, too. I can't recommend Michael enough! He's great!

I contacted 1st Mortgage of Indiana and was immediately put in touch with one of the owner's, Michael Strawn. Working with the owner was a big plus in my book. Michael was very knowledgeable and professional and made me feel comfortable from the start. He thoroughly explained the program, personally took my application over the phone, and kept me apprised all along the way. The loan approval was fast with no hidden costs or fees. I also worked with Pam Nicholson who was very friendly and helpful in coordinating the processing and closing of my loan. It was a very good experience from start to finish.
