I had a very good experience with Cathy and her company. She was very professional and covered all the needed documents at the outset. I was able to complete the process with only visit to the office. Even when there were delays with the documents needed for the subordination of a second mortgage, Cathy was able to get everything in place to meet the closing date. First Mortgage was very responsive and helpful. Their voicemail indicated that it might take a couple days to get back to me, and they rang on a Sunday! I was impressed with that, as well as their responsiveness and their persistence in keeping in touch. The owner, and then Kim Hokaday, one of their agents, kept in touch, and helped me compare various possibilities. I ended up using my existing mortgage company, but will definitely consider them for a future move.

This mortgage company made the refinancing process very easy and painless. The cost came in lower and the whole process took less than an three weeks to complete.

Cathy Strawn is amazing! I highly recommend her for any mortgage needs. She is knowledgable, friendly, and is a very hard working individual. Also, she remembers that this is about people and their needs, not just a bunch of dry numbers on the page. When I initially contacted her because of her high Angie's List rating, I was surprised that she got back to me very quickly. She informed me of all the documents I needed to round up and we set up a time shortly thereafter. Our refinancing session was pleasant and she thoroughly explained everything we needed to know. Within the last year or so, many things have changed (for the better) in the business of mortgages and real estate. They did a great job keeping both myself and the buyers updated on the transactions. They were quick to respond to emails and phone calls as well. With most mortgage companies it's hard to get them to respond to you! We made it to closing and Kathy Stawn was even able to attend the closing meeting!

Cathy is a very professional with a lot of patience. She explained every steps during our mortgage application process. After we got our credit reports, we found out my wife's record is not perfect to qualify the lowest rate. I am worried to disqualify our loan but she help us to find the other solution. During the final rate locking date, the rate is jumping like crazy from the morning. I called Cathy to lock the rate in the morning but she got the message around noon. However, the rate already jump 1/8 of point at that time. Cathy still help me got the better rate by paying some $$$ from their company profit. I am highly recommend Cathy and her company.
