Harry The Handyman

I contacted Harry on the phone on a Monday and he was out to my place on Thursday. I only had a few odd things that I needed done in my home, but he took the time to do it right. As he was leaving, after I had paid him, he noticed that my banister was loose, and he went out to his car to get his drill and fixed it in 3 minutes. Very friendly and courteous... I will definitely use him again!

It went very well. I was so relieved to have the jobs done in such a timely manner.

Excellent, Harry was prompt, professional and reasonably priced. He scheduled the installation around our limited time schedule, which was really appreciated. I had use Harry twice prior to this install. 1st time ( 11/17/15) for assistance on installing a new stove. 2nd time (11/23/15) for re-grouting a section of timer in our shower. Harry was very thorough.

He called me to let me know that he was on the way,  He had to 'pull' the mailbox pole out of the ground (it was down about 2 feet).
He carted away  the 'debris' and was done in no time.  Excellent job.

He is always great! He is very personable and helpful. His work is great and he always gets back to me.

Completed the work in a day. Provides extra effort to do quality work. If he discovers unexpected problems he fixes them often without a charge.

Harry was very professional yet also very personable. He was easy to contact, punctual, and always called me by my first name (no and quot;ma'am, miss, ladyand quot; etc. which I appreciated very much.)
I bought and picked up all the railings and posts, but the posts were too short. Harry went back to Lowe's for me and bought the longer ones, but they were too long. (The two sizes were the only option to go with the railings I had bought there.) Harry and his worker cut the posts to the correct size, and even had to cut some length from the railings. It took them longer to do than expected, but he never complained.
It took a second day, but they did a beautiful job; I am very pleased and will certainly use him again for any handyman work I need.

Our kitchen sink would not drain. On either side. We had attempted to fix the problem by taking apart the pipes under the sink, but were unsuccessful. Harry came and had the problem fixed within an hour (there was a clog in the pipe going out of the back).
Harry has done lots of work for us (painting, fixing small electrical problems, rebuilding shelves, other small plumbing issues, etc) and we have always been pleased with him. Great work, kind man and very reasonable prices.

This took place in December, 2012. He was a great guy. He did the job in a timely manner. He went out to Lowe's and bought the boards. He came back and put them in. We never mentioned price. He is a real handyman! He was almost finished when he told me it would be 250 dollars. I nearly fainted! That was for 1 hour's work. I stepped into that one, by not asking him the price upfront. I gave him the check and he was ready to go. At that moment and while he was there, we were having the walkway done by another company. They accidentally cut an electric line. They were afraid to touch it. They did not know what to do. I had already warned them it was there. It is very cold. They are kneeling in the snow when Harry who has no relation with these people. He gives his opinion. He went to his truck and got tools to fix the electrical line. He got down and fixed it himself. He put a pipe over it. He showed them how to do the work and showed them how not to hit it again. He was there for an hour and a half and he did the entire job. He did the extra work for no charge. I offered him an extra cheque and he said, "no, it's okay." I think he is great. On one hand I think he overcharged me and on another hand, he did an entire project for free! It was a fair price for both jobs!

He didn't do a very good job. My door is not how I want it to be. It doesn't shut well, and the latch doesn't catch at the bottom. He had to put a latch on at the top because he couldn't fix the lock at the top, so I have 2 keys to one door. He didn't seem like he wanted to do the job.

I would recommend him. He did a good job and was courteous.

He did a very good job. He found the studs for the screws to go into so the bar is strong. He was so kind. The last time he was over he repaired some rods in a lining closet. He went above and beyond to get those properly supported. I will definitely call him again. He comes promptly, neat, cleaned up any little mess that he might of created and he is polite.

I already had a fan in there, but it needed replaced. He did a great job. It was the first time I had used him. He came on time. He worked quickly. I would definitely use him again.

The door seal was done promptly and was very clean. He was nice and the job went well.

He was prompt, did good work, and I use him again. His rates were very reasonable.

Harry was worth every penny of what we paid and I recommend him highly. He showed promptly, scheduled the work and finished
on time.

50% of the tasks he "fixed" were not fixed. I had to hire two separate workers to complete the jobs. Very friendly man, but quality of the work simply was not there.

Harry is dependable, reliable, just a very personable guy. He is not going to oversell you or upsell you. He is just honest.

It cost $200 approximately but we don't remember the exact cost because usually we remember something else that needs to be done while he gets here. He has done work for us in the past year. He has also painted the interiors of our house before this along with another person who was the actual painter. He would be coming back for some painting work on the outside as soon as we have a dry day. He comes very quickly and he is very trust worthy. He is very handy at anything and that is why we call him for anything that we need now. If he cannot do it, then he will recommend somebody and we will know that we could trust that person. We had some sidewalks that were getting repressed in some areas. He recommended someone for the job when we called him and that person put some more concrete underneath to make it level again. He recommended somebody when we had a problem with our refrigerator and that person fixed it for us when we called him.

Our next door neighbor used him too. He was good and he was positive, I was not at home when they came to do the service. The lock has been held up fine so far and we had no issues at all. I would recommend him based on the comments from my wife. He was pretty knowledgeable and efficient. We will hire him again in the future.

Harry made himself available at the last minute and rearranged his schedule in order to complete my job. He went above and beyond the expectations by handling a couple of other side issues with the same professionalism. Very reasonably priced and I will make sure he's the first call I make when I need help.

He did a great job. I would definitely use him again. I've recommended him to my daughter and she's having him come out to work as well.

He is a very nice guy and has fair prices. He always arrives when he says that he will and provides an explanation of his charges and the work that he is going to perform.

Harry was punctual and easy to communicate with (by phone and in person). It was clear right away that he was the fellow to correct the design flaw that the original patio builder built into his design. We were both extremely happy with the job he did.

I had a very good experience start to finish. He came out promptly when I called and explained to me exactly what he was going to do and what it would take to rebuild those steps correctly. The work was done correctly and to my satisfaction at a very fair price.
