The communication was not good and they did not finish the services. He pointed out some problems with our pool and then never came back out to address the problems. He would call and say that we was coming but he would not show up. Now the pool is green.

Gary and his crew are super. I used him in 2012 when I was in the process of renovating the house and living in Ohio. After moving in in June of 2013 I tried another provider at the suggestion of a friend. What a disaster! I called Gary and he was kind enough to resume working with me and all has been great. He communicates well and is prompt in addressing issues. It's great to have a reliable and honest team to work with.

Love Gand D. We recently purchased a house with a pool. Immediately after moving in, we set out to find a reputable pool company--someone to teach us how to be pool owners. We were referred to Gand D by multiple people. At first, we were told that they were not accepting new customers. Certainly disappointing, but a good sign that we found the right company. We have now been able to work with these guys, and they are fantastic--Curtis, in particular. Curtis has helped us with a number of water clarity issues, and he recently helped us install a new pump motor. Good guy with great customer service. While I really love this company, and want to continue working with them, I do have to give them one criticism: they are not very good with returning phone calls. The ratio of my voice mails to return calls is about 3 to 1. Of course, I know I'm not getting return calls because they are so busy, but still… they need to work on that. Other than that, kudos to Gary and the gang. Great company!

They provide biweekly spa service.

We had a pipe leaking in our pool room. I called Gary and he sent someone to look at it the next day. They fixed the leak and also noticed a problem with a washer on another pipe so they fixed that. Professional and responsive. This is the second time that I have called them and both times have been great experiences. I plan on having Gary do all my pool work from now on. My price is an estimate as I have not received a bill yet.

Gary called me the next day and scheduled an appointment. He actually had a cancellation and called to see if he could come earlier in the day than originally planned which was great. He told me he would email me the cost and that if I wanted it done he could do it early the next week. I received and approved estimate and he showed upbright and early Monday morning to replace the pool pump and change out the sand filter. Gary was extremely professional. He took a look at the pump and told me that it needed to be replaced and that he would replace the O ring and the seal at the same time. I would not hesitate to recommend him. While he was there I asked him to give me an estimate on painting my pool and I have already told him that I plan to have him open and close my pool in the future. People - an organized pool professional who shows up when he says he will is a person worth his weight in gold!

We purchased our home in 2009 with an in-ground pool that had been installed in 1986, been serviced by Gary Dufek and his crew for years, but fallen into disrepair with a torn and leaking liner and other problems after the original owners stopped using it.

We contacted Gary and he brought the pool back to its sparkling original glory, doing the opening, closing, and services for us since then.We are very pleased with every aspect of Gand D Pool Service and would highly recommend this company.

Previous service provider died and checked with pump manufacturer for recommendations. Gand D called, checked out the problem and communicated well as tho the issues and repairs needed. Gary has been responsive nice to work with.

They came out located the leak in about 5 minutes, ( I had two other companies out and they never located the leak) They also determined that I needed a new pump motor. I have an older 1995 Cal spa, they located the motor and had it replaced in about a week. I was very satisfied with their service.

Hard to find someone who knows what they are doing and will show up when they say in the pool and spa business. They do.

WONDERFUL. Finding Gary was an answer to my prayers. We bought a house 2 years ago that had an in ground gunite pool. Having never owned a pool, I knew absolutely nothing and tried to use the company that had built the pool, thinking they knew it well. I spent the first year writing checks and crying at the rude service. I called around and spoke to several friends who had pools and they told me that is just how this industry works. When I found Gary, it was a miracle. He was punctual, knowledgeable and efficient. He was willing to come out and work with my son, fielded phone calls about the pool and walked me through problems. You can depend on him, you get the same person each time who calls you by name and tries to save you money (yeah). If it is something he does not do ( had problems with my automatic pool cover) he knows the business and refers you to trustworthy people. He even let me bounce ideas off him. I did not just find a reliable businessman, I found a friend. Run to this company!! They are wonderful. You feel you can trust them, something I never felt with any other pool company.

We have been satisfied with their work because they perform it on time and accurately. They are professional and friendly. We have never had any problems with them.

Installed a new motor for my filter recently. Great work and timely.
