Got wood flooring done. Floors look amazing, price was exactly as quoted, they were on time and professional. All around great experience.

Footprints Foors in Carmel did an amazing job replacing my carpet with LVP! We had them replace almost 1000 sq ft, so it was a large project. Tom and Kyle were on top of any issues that arise and made sure everything was good. The crew was so nice, very efficient and kept everything clean, even during such a big project. I couldn’t believe that they finished early. They even matched the pattern of my current floor making it look seamless (2nd picture). I’d 100% use them again!

Team was wonderful! Quick with all their responses and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Based on a neighbor friend’s recommendation, we selected Footprints Floors - Indianapolis. The process of moving all of our furniture was tedious and certainly not fun, yet the end result was worth it. Footprints Floors is locally owned, and I can’t say enough awesome things about our experience. They had fantastic communication from start to finish, offered great advice, and their crew meticulously placed each piece. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than what I had with Footprints Floors. They made a big project nearly stress free. Our experience with Footprint Floors was a complete waste of money, compelling me for the first time to warn potential customers about Footprint Floorâ  s gross incompetence and lack of professionalism. Initially, "Tom" (the contractor) and "Luis" (the worker) projected an image of competence and concern for our home and vision, misleading us into feeling confident in our choice of company. By the end this feeling was completely gone. Before leaving our home, we had explicitly and carefully chosen a grey color for our floors. Upon our return 3 days later, we found the floors to be unmistakably brown. Furthermore, our walls were stained and marked, and our lights wouldnâ  t turn on because the breaker switch had been turned off and left unscrewed on the floor, demonstrating a blatant disregard for our property. When we contacted the company to address these issues, we agreed to meet at 12:30. They arrived 30 minutes late. When they finally showed up, we voiced our concerns to Tom, who exhibited a shocking lack of accountability and professionalism. Before the painting had started, we repeatedly asked Luis about whether the color would change once the project was done, he assured us multiple times that it would stay EXACTLY the same. When confronted about the brown color, Luis absurdly claimed he told us the wood would look â  more lively" (whatever that meant) and then had the audacity to laugh in our faces. Both Tom and Luis stubbornly refused to acknowledge the glaring color discrepancy, absurdly insisting it was the EXACT same as we had chosen. They bluntly stated there was nothing they could do about it. Given their blatant denial of the obvious color difference, discussing the other issues we had was pointless. Ultimately, I had to tell Tom and Luis to leave my house as I could no longer stand them. I begrudgingly paid and spoke to "Terrance," the project manager, who offered a feeble and insincere apology before leaving. After they were gone, my girlfriend and I were left feeling extremely frustrated and stressed. What began as a seemingly positive experience morphed into a nightmare, revealing that none of the people there actually cared about addressing our concerns. Footprint Floors is, without a doubt, the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Their sheer lack of professionalism, accountability, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. This company caused us immense distress and frustration and I strongly urge everyone to avoid Footprint Floors at all costs.

Excellent results. Extremely pleased with the refinishing of my 90 year old hardwood floor. They look AMAZING!

We used Footprints Floors after a recommendation from friends to install a tile kitchen backsplash and replace the tile work around our fireplace. We could not be more pleased with the outcome and quality of their work! Very professional and detail oriented!

Tom and his crew were awesome to work with! They tore out and replaced about 1200 sq ft of flooring in our new home. Our Floor & Decor product was delayed which pushed back our installation date, but Tom was quick to contact the store to find out what was going on and to reassure us that he was still there and ready to get our job done as soon as the materials arrived. The crew arrived right on time on the first day of install and got to work immediately. They were all friendly, respectful, and communicative. They kept us informed on what they were going to complete each day. We had some unexpected subfloor repairs, but they worked close to 12 hours each day in order to get our project completed on time. We highly recommend them!

There is so much commentary that could be provided to accurately explain my experience but I would exceed the character limit. In short, I had floors refinished, new flooring installed and a new oak treads/riser installed for a staircase. Spent over $20,000! And, after all of that, I could not get Tom and his crew to fix installation issues with the stairs. Instead of texting, I call Tom and he states, to be frank, Luis does not feel comfortable coming to your house to do anymore work because you stand over him. And, you say mean things to him. Really? Immediately called BS. Then Tom says, I have told Luis to talk only to me and I have asked you before to not talk to Luis. Are we in Kindergarten or what? If things were so bad, then I will gladly accept the new bottle of tequila back which we gave Luis in celebration of him becoming a US Citizen! So far, I have had two neighbors ask about the flooring we have had done and how the process went with Footprints. Not the best experience! You better believe Footprints, nor Tom or Luis, will not receive a favorable reference from me. I will ensure that my circle knows what an awful experience it was and work was left incomplete.

Very responsive and the workers were excellent. Not the lowest bid, but the owner game me lots of information and ideas.

Tom was very attentive to what I wanted from Footprints and what I could do before they installed the flooring. The installers were excellent and took measures to scar the flooring when moving appliances. It was nice that I didn't have to say anything to correct their work.

From our very first meeting with Tom for an estimate we decided that we liked this company and wanted them to do our work. He was very helpful with question whenever I had any. We were incredibly happy with Nick and the crew once they got started on the work. Nick was always quick to answer questions and help when needed. The crew was great. They got the work done a little quicker than expected and did an amazing job. Great quality work and it looks beautiful. We got exactly what we wanted and could not be happier. Would recommend 100%

I was given a quote of $2,533 to install the flooring that I purchased. I was also told that this job would take one to two days. On the first day, after they had torn out the carpet in my 94-year-old fathers bedroom, they came back and told me that I would need an additional 18 bags of leveler. It costs $30 per bag and they charge $70 per bag to mix and pour. They thought that I could come up with an additional $1,800 out of thin air. The owner of the company came to do the estimate and apparently he should have brought a level with him but he did not. Even after I broke down in tears when the project manager told me about the additional leveler, the owner never even bothered to call me. When I told them that I would pay them the contracted amount of $2,533, then he was very quick to call me. He said that he explained the process to my daughter. Unfortunately, my daughter did not hire him nor does she own this home. He also threatened that he may have to take further action but did not say what that action was. As a single female, this was a very intimidating email to receive. He misrepresented the cost of his services and then demanded that I pay him. I definitely would never do business with him again nor would I recommend him to anyone. Very unprofessional.

Everyone was professional and understanding of what I wanted. I will be referring them to other people.

Easy to work with and my floors look amazing

I had Footprints out to refinish the original wooden floors for the downstairs of the house a few months back and liked their work so much that I rehired them refinish the stairs and upstairs hallway (which included repairs) as well. They were very knowledgeable on the subject matter and were able to provide a clear estimate on specifically what they could or could not fix, as well as a fairly accurate estimation on when work would be completed. The workers themselves were very courteous throughout, as they always showed up on time, practiced social distancing, and were sure to clean up after themselves at the end of each work day. They were even able to throw in some transitions to the bedrooms and bathroom floors, which I greatly appreciated. The craftsmanship of their work was superb, and really transformed the feeling of the entire upstairs of the house. I thought the total cost of the project was more than fair, and was more than worth it given their reliability. I'm a firm believer in that you get what you pay for, and Footprints didn't fail to impress once again. I would 100% recommend Footprints to anyone who has a floor restoration project.
