They were patient when it came to dealing with insurance. Cost more than insurance wanted to pay, but quality was there.

Working with element roofing has been a headache and a half since the beginning. Initially, I found out the salesman that they sent out to speak with my insurance adjustor has a criminal record. He is barred from "working in any occupations or activities that involve children under the age of 18," yet he is allowed in homes to inspect properties. The only reason I know this is because I felt very uncomfortable around him and decided to do a quick Google search. It was not very comforting when the first thing that appeared on the search page was a mugshot. Thankfully, the owner said he would take on the job so I would not have communication with the salesman mentioned above. After the roofers completed the job, I walked around the perimeter looking for nails and found them everywhere. They did come back out the next day and did a much better sweep after I mentioned it to the owner. They cracked a couple of the perforated pipes attached to the bottom of the downspout during roofing, so I assumed they would replace when they did the gutters. They did not; they just reattached the cracked perforated pipes. They left extra materials outside in my yard for 3 weeks. After I kept mentioning it to the owner, he assured me again and again that they would be out. I ended up throwing away some of the materials since it just took way too long for them to be removed. We had agreed on a date for the gutters to be completed, and the workers never showed. After I mentioned it to the owner a couple days later, they were out the next morning, and I was not even told they would be coming to site until AFTER they had begun the work at 7:30am. I got a call from my insurance guy saying they were asking for an additional $9,000 for additional labor charges, painting vents, measurement adjustments, etc. According to their supplement request, they were asking for money for "roofer per hour," "residential supervision," laying tarp around the perimeter, additional labor costs, and other things not originally agreed upon by insurance. Most of these "supplemental requests" were already factored in the amount insurance was paying me. Thankfully, I only have to pay the deductible, but the fact that they are not asking me to pay what insurance did not cover shows that they are trying to squeeze as much as they possibly can from insurance. Element roofing prides itself on being "real" and "honest," but I did not feel that in working with them at all. I really could go on, but one thing I can say is the roof and gutters look okay. This is more a review on the company and their overall professionalism. Please be careful about hiring companies with all 5-star reviews. I do not recommend this company.

I called Element Roofing a roof inspection due to my roof being older and needing to replace it. Jeremy arrived promptly and on time and did his inspection. I was ready to pay out of pocket, but after Jeremy’s inspection, he found hail and wind damage to the roof. Jeremy helped me file a claim with my insurance carrier and met my adjuster on site to make sure the adjuster didn’t miss anything. Unfortunately the claim was denied, but there was substantial hail and wind damage as evidenced by Jeremy’s documentation. We asked for a reinspection, and the claim was denied again. Jeremy went to bat for me with my insurance eventually leading to a full roof replacement paid by insurance including skylights, powered vents, gutter guards, ridge vents, and painting. When the work was taking place, all the workers arrived on time. I was impressed that the roof was done in one day. Also, the painting and skylight, and gutters crews were extremely professional, and I couldn’t be happier with how all the work turned out. I recommend Element Roofing for anyone looking for a high quality contractor for roof replacement or an advocate for your insurance claim.

We had 3 estimates for our hail damage last spring. We chose Element because of the thoroughness of their reports and previous reviews that stated how well they worked with insurance companies, especially ones with a reputation stinginess. These reviews were not exaggerated; we only had to pay our deductible for a huge amount of repairs. We were well prepared for the repairs by the instructions they gave us. The work proceeded according to schedule; the cleanup was very thorough. Their crews were nice, polite and clean. There was no smoking on our property. The owner, Jeremy Rytych was very easy to reach and very responsive to our concerns. We recommend them to anyone needing roofing and/or gutter repairs or replacement.

I recently used Element Roofing for a new roof replacement after some storm damage. As a first time home owner, I have never had to replace a roof or even knew how to go about doing so. I mistakenly called the insurance company first. They had someone scheduled to come out the next day. I then researched and found you should have a contractor there to be your advocate. I reached out to Jeremy at Element Roofing and he actually answered. He was able to be there with us the net day. I have to emphasize to you the great communication Jeremy displayed. After contacting several other places, I found Jeremy to be very professional, on time (even early) compared to others. We chose to proceed with Element Roofing and so glad we did. Our insurance company first denied the claim and Jeremy really fought for us and in the end resolved in our favor in a timely manor. He wore a mask even outside during the inspection and really made us feel educated during the whole process. He explained everything to us in a way we could understand and overall went above and beyond what we were expecting. I could text and email him at any point in time and always received a response quickly. As a business professional myself, I really did appreciate his availability for communication after business hours because of my job and not always able to communicate during the day. Installation was very professional. Compared to my neighbors installation, it was a breeze. They all came ready to work and did not leave the property a mess like I had seen others in our neighborhood do. The materials were dropped of and picked up in the most timely manner and we could not be happier. Jeremy made this process as smoothly as possible and really stood his ground against our insurance company. I don't think we would have been as successful without him. I would highly recommend Element Roofing to anyone.

May 1, 2020 I have just finished a $200,000, 6 year remodel on my home. In all that time I have not met with a contractor as professional as Jeremy Rytych with Elements Roofing. His firm capped our project with a $27,000 removal and replacement of the exterior siding and trim on our home. He was neither the most expensive or the cheapest. But he was the most responsive and the only one to follow up on his proposal in the estimating phase. Jeremy ensured that a product specialist assist him in the consult and estimation due to the nature of our project, he made a first-rate presentation to express his values underpinning his work ethic, and offered referrals. We had 3 other quotes. No other representative was as polished, appropriately dressed, and respectful. Moreover, Jeremy’s character upon first impressions typified the project: professionalism, customer service, quick and timely communication, attention to detail, attentive to our requests and changes, and finished on budget. We were presented with three options. Jeremy was willing to revise the quote and 3D renderings several times. The team on our job was quick, showed up everyday till the job was finished, cleaned up as promised, and the workmanship was top notch (cuts, joints, sheathing, painting, …really well done!). We all need and want good work from good people as we search for contractors on our biggest investment (our homes). We were recommended Element Roofing by my parents because they had done work on their roof and gutters. We bought a house that was a major "fixer upper" in terms of gutters. Jeremy came out and walked me through the things he saw which were problems. He let me send him a text about our decisions later after I had talked to my husband about it which was really helpful because I don't always have time to make calls with work. He listed out all the issues with pictures and pricing, and my husband and I were able to to choose exactly what we wanted done and wanted to wait on. Once we let him know we paid part of the total price and were scheduled for the work. They came out and did everything, we only needed to be out there briefly to open the garage for them (we were not living at the house at the time) and they handled everything else without us needing to be there. Once everything was done he took pics of the completed work so we could see a side-by-side with the pics he took before the work. Everything was mended beautifully. They were very friendly to work with, especially with Jeremy texting me info I needed to know. His explanations were easy to understand. We just paid the rest of the invoice. Would definitely work with them again.

Element Roof replaced our roof and gutters. Both were scheduled with very reasonable time frames and the work for both was completed ahead of schedule. Communication was very timely and included at my request email, phone and text. I would use this Element again.

After a recent storm, I had a significant amount of roof damage that filled my front yard with shingles. I called three companies: two were so called "restoration" companies, one was Jeremy with Element Roofing. I expressed my concern about potential future damage due to the decking being exposed, and while the other companies didn't address the problem, only offering to do a repair, Element Roofing listened to my concerns, came out and tarped the roof the very next day. One company quoted an $800 repair, but Element Roofing explained why a repair was not appropriate, and would not solve the problem due to the age of the roof, due to darkening, due to the irreparability. Jeremy explained that repairing and attaching new shingles to old, brittle shingles would not work, as the old shingle's broken seal (around the repaired area) would not prevent future water penetration. I also didn't want a patch job. The new shingles would look different than the old shingles. We filed a claim and Jeremy met the insurance adjuster on the roof. The roof was actually DENIED by insurance, but Jeremy utilized his insurance expertise to call for a reevaluation of the insurance claim. I trusted him and stuck with the process. And after reevaluation, a complete new roof was approved by insurance! In preparation for the roof, Jeremy sent me a pre-start checklist, which I really appreciated, as this really helped me prepare for the roofing project, especially the fact that he had me take down wall decorations and photos due to potential vibrations during the roofing project. The workers worked very hard, and the work was completed in a timely manner. The property was clean when they finished. Jeremy kept me updated through the entire process. I love how wonderful the new roof looks! The customer service was above and beyond what I experienced from any other company; it was EXCEPTIONAL! I highly recommend Element Roofing for any roofing needs, especially if insurance is involved. I'm glad I trusted Element Roofing's insurance claim process that resulted in a complete roof replacement.

I was referred to Element Roofing by a work colleague. Jeremy set up an appointment and gave me a detailed estimate with pics and video, and emailed it prior to leaving that day. His bid was competitive and included some items the other estimates did not. The crew that did the job completed the work in one day even with some rain delays and 90 degree temps. Our roof is rather complicated, with 5 gables, and a valley that needed some work. We also had a couple of unforeseen issues that they found. Jeremy communicated these to me immediately, and he offered to repair with concise costs. We ended the day with a beautiful new roof, even with the problems. Jeremy even assisted me putting the patio sail back up to insure the anchor they reinstalled was placed correctly before he left. His crew was friendly, quick, and professional the entire day. They cleaned up after, and they worked 13 hours to insure my job was completed in one day. I would definitely recommend Element Roofing to anyone looking for a well managed roofing company.

When it comes to customer service and quality of work, Jeremy and his crew are some of the best I've ever worked with. We saw their work on a home across the street and took their name by recommendation. Jeremy was phenomenal through the whole process. His honesty, flexibility and dedication place him above the rest. We had an insurance claim on our home, and he was able to complete the process and step through the issues with an adjuster so that they saw every detail, closing the deal on the claim.
