Honda dealer said we had a puncture that could not be repaired. Took car to Discount Tire who examined tire and found the problem was corrosion on the rim, not a puncture. They removed the corrosion and sent us on our way at no cost.

Four new tires. Extremely convenient. I purchased the tires on a Tuesday and made an appointment for a Friday install. Friendly, professional and very honest.

Discount tires is absolutely amazing. Their staff is friendly, professional and most importantly HONEST! I had forgotten that I purchased a warranty on the tires that I purchased a couple years before. When they presented me the bill for two new tires I was shocked to see that I owed them $35.00. In my opinion, there are not a lot of car repair companies that are as honest as Discount Tires. Great job. Thank you!

Discount tires is a great place to purchase tires because of their thoughtful, professional staff. They really are interested in what is best for you, not what makes them the most money. I didn't have a lot of money to spend and they worked with me to make sure I got great tires at a price I could afford.

They were very punctual in taking care of me.  The tire was fixed at the time it was promised.  They were very professional, nice, great with customer service and did not charge me because we have a long history of purchasing tires from them.  I trust them to take care of our tire needs.

They were very helpful and have the best service.  I felt like I had a new car when they were done.

It is possible that I love Discount Tire too much.  I have used them for checking tires and replacing tires as well on multiple occasions.  Every staff member I have met has been courteous and professional, and I have been very satisfied with the work done.  I am not sure how service can be so much NICER here than any other automotive repair establishment, but kudos to the managers and staff!  When my tires need air, it is quicker and easier to drop by for a free top off than it is to use the air compressor in my own garage.  I will never buy a tire anywhere else.
In addition, I had a very strange request recently when I needed a trike tire repaired for a field day-type fundraiser at our house. The kind folks at Discount Tire saved our adult tricycle relay event after spending at least 30 minutes on a tiny tire, and THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME A DIME.

It did not cost anything because we purchased tires from them before and they have us in their system as purchaser of tires so they basically are counting that we would go back to them again so the repair was free, and they know we're going to need tires in the future. Actually, it's a pretty good move, I probably would go to them again. I've used them for more than 10 years.

The folks at Discount Tire were very professional: I set an appointment so I could get in and out, reported with a briefcase full of work, expecting to spend the morning.  Instead, I was on my way in 20 minutes and the tires have been performing as expected.

I had  a slowly leaking tire, and drove to Discount Tire as a 'walk in' customer.  They advised me it would be a 1-hour wait, so I made an appointment for 8:30 the next morning.  After making the appointment, he said they would repair the tire (Goodyear, on a 2011 Prius) for free - something I had not expected.
The next morning, at 8:30 sharp, I pulled into the parking lot, got out and was headed to the reception area when a young man came out to meet me, with a clipboard in hand.  He took down my information, checked the tread depth on all 4 tires, and did a visual inspection of the leaking tire, without seeing any problem.  He was very personable, with a neat appearance, and said he would be going back to Indiana Univ. in the fall.  He said they should be finished with the tire in 30 minutes.  They have internet for their customers, so I could do some work while they worked
At 9:00 the job was complete - they had found a nail, removed it and plugged the hole.  They also checked the air pressure in the other tires.  No charge!
In general, the quality of service in the US is quite variable, and generally declining in my view.  At this Discount Tire store, they are training their employees to provide exceptional service.  My image of a "discount tire store" has completely changed for the better. This store has neat and clean employees interacting with the customers, they don't over-promise and under-deliver.  I was most impressed with this store and with its management who has established an exceptional service level.

Eric Miner is all about customer satisfaction. We have been customers for years but every time we need tires, I always shop the competition. On this purchase, I called nearly every tire store on the north side and no one could beat Discount Tire or their fabulous warranty and road hazard protection. Most will patch but Discount Tire has never patched a tire. I have had patches in the past from other tire companies with little success which is a hazard in itself. The customer service is second to none. I'm a tough customer and rarely rave about companies but I think Discount Tire is worthy of a Page of Happiness. Eric worked within our time table and found great tires within our budget.

One of the service techs said hi to me on the way in even though he was on another assignment.  Sales person was friendly.  He came out to the car and carried the tire in from my trunk.  I'd removed it from my other car at home.  I was called in a few hours and they reloaded the tire into my trunk.  The service was at no charge.  I had purchased these tires from them 2.5 years ago.  Years before that I'd had a leak more than once on another car (tire to rim) and they took it off and serviced it free of charge even though I hadn't bought the tire there.  That sort of good will has me coming back to the store for future tire needs.

Great. They performed the service while I waited, and kept me informed of choices along the way.

In July 2012, I had to replace one of the tires that had been punctured by a nail.  Because of the insurance I had purchased, I was able to get a new tire for $25.  Also, I called Discount Tires this afternoon. A real person answered the phone and pulled up my account to answer questions. 

Quick and easy. They were straight forward and didn't try to pull the wool over your eyes. I was comfortable with everything and they did a great job.

I was disappointed in the warranty I bought from prior tire purchase.  They gave me the bells and whistles, but when I tried to negotiate my tire replacement, they said it wasn't part of warranty.  Part of communication break down may be due to lack of knowledge on my part, but wish they offered an itemized list of what was included, before I made a decision.  The management is great and willing to go extra mile to accommodate customers in the end.  I would recommend this place to others.

It was awesome. I went in expecting to drop a few hundred on tires but my tire was under warranty. Cory helped me out and was awesome. He said it would be about 1 hour and 45 mins and I got a call much earlier than that. My car was finished in an awesome amount of time and I couldn't be happier.

Visited store on 7/3/2013 to obtain an estimate for replacing tires. The gentleman I worked with was very patient and explained everything thoroughly. I took his card and said I would call to schedule the appointment. He said they had the tires in stock so it wasn't a big deal. I called to make an appointment but they were closed and the recording suggested I go online to make the appointment. I made the appointment online very easily. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told they didn't have those tires in stock and they weren't sure why I was told that they did. They offered me a slightly different, more expensive tire but agreed to give them to me at the same price that I was quoted for the other tires. They then offered some other service and after consulting with my husband, I agreed to that service. Once he went to enter it into the system, the price came out differently. Turns out he misquoted me the price but he discounted that down to the price he had told me since he said that was his error in offering it to me at the wrong price. I waited at the store while they did the work. They were very nice to work with and gave me periodic updates while I waited. I never felt pressured to buy anything and my minivan drove like a dream with the new tires. A day or so after I had the tires replaced I was getting a tire pressure error message. I took it back in and after about a 10 minute wait for someone to help me, they checked the tire pressure and found I had a bolt in one of my new tires. (I am guessing I got that bolt due to the construction right there in front of their store on US 31.) They fixed that right there at no charge and had me on my way very quickly. Every time I have been in their store, they have always been very busy. Despite their being extremely busy, they are always very prompt, friendly, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this store.

This is the second time I have gone to this store and they did not disappoint me with the quality of their service.  Yes, they are extremely busy (they are the highest volume store in the state) so some patience may be required.  But considering the number of customers they serve, they are extremely efficient and still maintain an extremely high level of service.
The staff were extremely helpful and informative in selecting the correct tires.  They suggested a different model than the ones I ultimately purchased, but were patient in going over the differences and answering every question I had.  The tires they suggested would have been more than adequate and may even have been superior in some respects.  I chose another, normally more expensive set, due to an online price I found.
The chain (Discount Tire) will beat anyone's price, even online pricing (shipping is included but that is only fair).  I was not aware of this until the personnel at this store made me aware of it.  I found an incredibly low price and only expected them to meet me half way (it was ridiculously low) or at best to match it.  They beat it by a good margin.  They also matched a local competitor on the rebuild of the TPMS, which I would not have done normally.  I also purchased the free replacement warranty, another item I would not have normally purchased.  Despite including those items in my purchase, the total cost was less than anyone else's price in town for the tires and installation alone!
As I said, they are busy so I scheduled installation for the next day (Saturday) bright and early.  I showed up slightly before they are scheduled to open and they were already helping customers and had been for awhile (not unusual).  Installation was close to scheduled time and out earlier than they estimated.
There was one issue.  2 of the tires were the wrong model due to a mislabel either at the warehouse or their supplier.  The mislabeled tires were suitable for the car (they were actually the type the staff had recommended originally) and were caught by the installers.  They apologized profusely for the error and corrected the mistake.  They would have sent a truck to the warehouse for the proper model, but I stated it was not necessary.  They could pick them up on their next run.
Everything ended well and I am more than satisfied.  I would, do, and have recommend them.  If there is one negative, they do not do alignments.  However, they have a partner (maybe 2) up the street that will do it for a discount.  (Again, I could not find anyone I trusted to do an alignment for less.)  I would give names of the people that helped me, but I have never found anyone there that was not exemplary and went above and beyond.  Even the store manager from Columbus, Ohio who was working there to learn from some of the best.  (P.S. I am not a paid spokesperson though it does sound like it at times!  LOL).  Everyone at the store deserves recognition for the outstanding job they do.

It went very well. They showed me how the old tires were warn and suggested I have my alignment checked by my regular mechanic to avoid the same wear on the new tires.  I was treated with respect which isn't always done since I'm a woman who doesn't know much about cars.  I  didn't feel rushed or forced to make a decision at that time.  I know now why my widow friends suggested this place.  I definitely will return to use their services when needed!
