It was very professional. They got the job done, they were cooperative. They started and finished in schedule. They were competitively priced. I would highly recommend them.

Unfortunately I scheduled this job at a very busy time of year, right after Halloween which slowed down many aspects.That being said, Custom Living kept in touch with accurate estimates of when things would happen. I was not in a hurry to finish before the holidays, which was good as we finished up at the end of January. Some custom cabinets experienced some problems with the paint being very rough, drawer fronts being warped, etc. All were made perfect and I couldn't be happier with the finished product.
Tom, the owner was professional and helpful and made sure I was made aware of all the steps of the process, and details of the financial end of things.
Zach was my and quot;go to guyand quot; for the whole process, and he was polite, easy to work with, neat, and made sure everyone else cleaned up too. He kept me up to date with who would be there on what day, and what they would be doing.
My kitchen is beautiful, and I can't imagine doing it without their help.

We are in our 4th week of work and they are well ahead of the schedule. There is minimal disturbance to our daily routine as they work in the house while we are at work. The people are very accommodating and respect our wishes. Since we are not finished, I can only speak of the past and present and we would recommend this company for a complete or just partial makeover.

Tom and his company just completed phase 2 of a remodel of our condo. The entire process went smoothly, handling surprises and extras along the way with no problem. Any emails or questions were answered almost immediately, even on weekends. All the crews and subcontractors were professional and easy to work with. I would absolutely hire them again!

Tom Lazarra and his crew were excellent. Tom's attention to detail during the estimate and scoping of the work ensured that there were few surprises, consequently estimate was accurate and on time. Tom assisted not only with the construction, but met with me to pick out appropriate materials such as tile, fixtures, sinks, etc. He and his team were very respectful and conscientious during the demolition, they draped everything well and did their best to minimize disruption of our home. We are thrilled with the overall look and usability of our new bath. When we called a few weeks later with a problem, Tom returned to the home to ensure that everything was fixed properly and we were happy with our investment. We hope to use Custom Living again for our next remodel.

Overall the process was a smooth one due to Tom's diligence and dedication to a quality job. It allowed my husband and I to keep our focus on the creative design decisions and material selections for the project rather than trying to coordinate multiple contractors and monitor their work. Tom spent more time monitoring our remodeling process than I had anticipated a general contractor would give. His focus on our project allowed us to go to work and not have to make constants trips home to check in. He did an excellent job of communicating with us and making sure we knew the progress of the specific aspects of the job. He was responsive to our concerns and patiently worked with us to help resolve them (honestly, I have no idea how he stayed so calm and professional during some of my dramatic moments!). Tom kept the job organized and on track and his inherent need for perfection only worked in our favor! The stress and inconvenience of a remodel is enough to push anyone over the edge and thanks to Tom we were always kept a safe distance from the edge! The final result is beautiful and we are enjoying it immensely.

He was at our house every time work was being done to personally oversee it- after the door was delivered and installed, he didn't like the external border that came with the door so quickly redid the outside siding around the door himself. He listened to endless debates between my wife and me and helped us find solutions we are both happy with. I could not recommend Tom and Custom LIving more highly.
