Custom Home Medic

We needed our home updated in preparation to sell after having the same renters in it for 13 years. (Not a great situation for upkeep.) Before deciding on Custom Home Medic, we received one other estimate from a contractor recommended by our realtor which was the same cost but did not include any upgrades, only repairs. It was very general whereas Custom Home Medic was very specific & transparent in itemizing costs. We replaced bathroom flooring (4 baths), replaced kitchen countertop (tile) with granite, & added a backsplash. All interior doors and hardware were changed as well as upgraded light fixtures, MB windows replaced, new basement carpeting, paint throughout including baseboards & many misc repairs. We were well-informed about the progress and about minor cost adjustments which were all made within budget. All work was completed within the time frame expected and our house sold the first day on the market for more than our asking price. Even our realtor was extremely impressed with the end result and transformation of our home, having been our realtor when we first purchased it. I highly recommend Custom Home Medic.

My new deck is amazing! I love it! It has an open feeling as black aluminum spindles were attached to the top and bottom rails. I wanted a design that would not obstruct my view of the golf course that I so enjoy!

Adam is the ultimate professional ! His designer Russ was amazing , professional and easy to work with ! The entire team at Custom home medic were truly mindful craftsman. My wife and I are incredibly particular , and they met all of our needs and exceeded all expectations. This is now our favorite room in our house , our laundry room , it’s almost silly to say . They where incredibly clean and took Covid 19 seriously .( this was a huge deal to us as my wife was pregnant at the time ) They came in under their competition bc they don’t over charge in design, and their cabinet quality is truly awesome. I made several change requests after work was started and Adam’s reaction to my requests were just awesome. He and his crew didn’t complain , he communicated so clearly and honestly. For the first time we had a contractor not surprise us with the final bill. He actually came in under our total estimates with change orders. He and Russ both followed up with us to insure we were pleased with everything. They truly went above and beyond. They helped us source matching totes , at no charge bc we were struggling with our choices ! The dog washing station was custom fit to our Great Dane , who is huge and heavy. They moved and installed my safe free of charge ( a device that was going to cost us hundreds and hundreds of dollars. ) They brought packages left on our porch inside our home , followed all of our HOA’s crazy rules , brought in our trash cans , and even showed up on time every day. If you want a contractor that communicates with you openly and honestly , treats his professional staff of actual full time employees well , and is honest , hire Adam and his team. We asked for 50 pounds of stuff in a 10 pound box and Adam made it awesome while Russ made it all look good while functioning. Adam helped source the laundry baskets , cleaned our cats litter box that was in his workspace , kept our house clean , AND HE COMMUNICATED WITH US DAILY HONESTLY. HE STAYED ON TIME AND UNDER BUDGET. Don’t get fooled by the other guys that use subcontractors and wanna be designers. Use the team with the ambulances , use Custom Home Medic. This is now our go to contractor for jobs big and small. Adam even talked me through a diy project I was doing weeks after his project was done and he had been paid for free then came by to check on me and actually spent 30 minutes finishing my project for me , for free. Not joking people. Use Adam , use Custom Home Medic !!!

It was great they did a good job. The quality of work was excellent, they did exactly what we talked about, very friendly, responsive, and I don't any have complaints.
