Carmel Landscaper

The job went well.  Mike was very pleasant to work with.  It was a lot of hard work and took him several days.  He started about a week after he had said he would start.  I think some rain got him behind on other jobs.  We had gotten a quote from one of the areas bigger landscapers, but they couldn't start until the end of June, and they were more expensive.
We were pleased with the outcome.  We have also hired Mike to maintain our landscape monthly through October.  This will include trimming bushes, trimming ground cover, and weeding beds.
I would recommend Mike to others needing help with their landscape maintenance.

From the start it was easy to work with Mike Wilson from Carmel Landscaper.  He listened to exactly what I was looking for.  Then he made suggestions to additional services that while I hadn't thought of were things after hearing I was interested in.  I am saving myself 4 hours week.  When you think about the 24-26 week lawn care season.  I have saved myself a lot of time which I can spend doing other things around the house and with family and friends. Its good to have a professional too.  I know he is on it and I don't have to worry about it getting done on time. 

The project went great.  I only wish that we could have done it all at once, but Carmel Landscaper did a great job of working with us to divide the project into affordable jobs.  The most important thing was for us to get a playset operational for our kids.  We just had the new playset built where the previous owners had their playset.  The outline and shape didn't match our playset, but Carmel Landscaper made it work for the first part of the project. 

 The second phase of the project involved completely re-doing the "bed" of the playset so that it matched the outline and usage of our playset.  We had rubber safety mats put down and covered with rubberized mulch.  We did this to keep the area mud free.  We had some unusable space behind the playset that we made into a sandbox.  It was important to us that it be part of the play area as a whole and it be big enough to have our three kids and friends be able to play at the same time - (I believe the playset took about between two and three tons of play sand).

Since we live in a neighborhood we didn't have any real place for a garden.  We had a garden planter box put in along the fence coming from the playset.  It is about 24 ft long x 3ft wide.  The best part was Carmel Landscaper's idea to a sprinkler system in the planter box for watering. Now, all my wife has to do is attach the hose and turn the faucet on!
