Got estimate I believed reasonable and made appointment fr repair. Repair completed in one and a half days, below estimated cost because one part could be reused perfectly. Car is a white pearl color, difficult to match. They matched it perfectly and I am a stickler for having a job done right. Timely, reasonable, and expert car refinishers. This is second car they have repaired for my family. The first, a '91 silver Miata was hit in the front and they also repaired that vehicle perfectly in 1994. The quality and professionalism continue!!

Everything was great in every aspect. The mechanic was ready to work as soon as I brought it in, was up front about the whole process and how long it would take. He met all those expectations. He took a lot of time to show me the work that was completed afterwards. The whole shop is great, very clean and professional.

It went very smoothly.

They started with the sedan since the driver was away. When finished, we traded vehicles and then he worked on my truck. Returned truck by Monday May 20.

Many of the details are incorporated in the insurance write-up. I know that the service provider did all the necessary work required. It was not necessary for me to monitor the repair work on my two vehicles.

They gave me an estimate of the cost of repairing the vehicle by Email on the same day that the vehicle was looked at. We received 3 estimates from 3 different body shops and selected Carmel Contours based on talking to the estimators. We took the vehicle in on a Monday and it was fixed on Wednesday as promised. They vacuumed the inside of the car and washed the exterior. It looks like new.

He is awesome. We have been using him for years.

Rick was professional, caring and a pleasure to deal with. He did the work faster than anticipated for which I was grateful.
But the best part is how the car looks now and even how it drives. Don't know why, but it feels tighter and more responsive.

Unbelievably and frustratingly bad! Went there at the suggestion of my State Farm agent as they are a service direct facility. From the moment I arrived at the shop for an estimate, they seemed small and like a part-time venture. Hard to find anyone to speak with. Finally got estimate on initial visit which was 50% higher ($1500) than the one I ended up needing to get from State Farm ($1000) and it was 80%+ higher than the place where I had the work done ($825.) They wanted to replace the bumper which was not necessary. Both SF and the other place (TOUCH-N-GO AUTO) which is right down the street said they would repair the bumper - not replace! I showed all three estimates to a state of Indiana manager for a damage appraisal organization and he told me that replacing the bumper is one way of "raking SF over the coals and ultimately costing the consumer more in premiums." To keep a longer story shorter, trying to reach them was a nightmare. Left messages that were not returned until hours later. One time they told me they were out to lunch even though it was well after two o'clock when I called them. I had driven by and saw the "out to lunch will return at 2:00" sign on their door, so I waited until 2:25 to call. I called back after 4:30 and when I asked Rick if he had received my message, he said "yeah, I was just going to call you (right!) and we were at lunch when you called (right,) plus it didn't seem to be that urgent of an issue to get the car fixed since you are driving it." I was so angry! I told him I would call him back. Next morning I called and a lady answered. I told her my name and why I was calling and then told here "I am trying to get my car fixed and am trying to pick a place and my insurance company suggested you, but I have to tell you, my confidene level in your shop couldn't be lower." Here is what she said: "Uh, huh." I repeated myself and this time she said "what I can do for you sir?" I then asked her if that was all she had to say after I just told her what I had told her. She said "I am trying to figure out what you need." I hung up. Will now spend as much time as I can telling everyone how bad my experience was. I see by some of the older ratings that apparently they did some good work for others. That was NOT my experience. I am suspicious that the good recent rating must have been from a friend or family member. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Terrible service! They try to rip off the insurance company! They are very good. I give them the highest ratings on all counts and would use them again if necessary.

Work was performed promptly and there was no evidence of the original dent afterwards. They used a paintless repair process.

They have good communication and provide timely service. I also think that they are honest. They were professional, responsive and punctual.

The repairs were excellent, you could not find/see the dents left by the hail. My wife was impressed when we went to pick up her car, not only was it washed, the interior was cleaned and vacuumed. Even the door sills were cleaned. Car looked as if it came off the show room.

They are quality oriented and will not take short cuts or put used parts on as the insurance company requested in their low ball estimate. I have used this shop many times, and their ability to match paint is amazing. I have never been able to tell the repaired area from the rest of the car. I paid the extra amount that the insurance would not pay just so I could have them do the work instead of using a discount shop. It was worth it. If you care how your car looks, take it here for repairs.

We were referred to Carmel Auto Contours by our insurance company, State Farm. We took the car in; received an estimate on the amount of time needed for repair; and, got the car back within two days (earlier than expected). Our experience was very positive with this efficient and friendly auto body shop.

The actual cost was over $4000, but Rick the owner dealt w/insurance for the difference between my first check and the balance. The insurance company paid for everything, but I was responsible for my car rental. Due to various factors, they had to have my minivan for a much longer period than expected. As this was adding up in car rental, I was becoming more frustrated. As a result though Rick fixed many additional scratches and dents unrelated to the hail storm, at no charge to me or my insurance. The car looks great. My husband has had to use this company twice and also has had excellent results.
