I was very satisifed with the quality of the work. When working with Mr. Border, you need to realize that it is pretty much a one man show, so scheduling and contact can be bit difficult (reason for the B grade in responsiveness). Once we established the date, things went smoothly. The cost of pressure washing and staining was lower than other estimates I had gotten from neigbors doing similar work.

The price seemed reasonable. He did fine and was punctual. He fixed the stuff that I needed fixed.

He tore out our existing bathroom and installed the new cabinets and plumbing, which included new faucets and sink. There were challenges with the cabinetry, but he was excellent in figuring out how to make it all fit together. The actual cutting of the wood and the trim work that he does is superb. He sometimes does not return phone calls, so it may take him a few days to get back to you, but we were very pleased with the overall job and we would have him come back out again.

THEY DID NOT COMPLETE SOME SMALL ITEMS THINKING THE HOME INSPECTOR WOULD NOT CATCH THEM. THE INSPECTOR DID CATCH THEM. ITEMS THAT THEY DID COME BACK TO REPAIR DID NOT REMAIN IN STATE OF REPAIR SO ANOTHER CONTRACTOR TOOK CARE OF THEM AFTER I WAS TOLD BY JOHN BORDER THAT HE WOULD REIMBURSE ME THE $85.00 EVEN THOUGH HE THOUGHT IT WAS HIGHER THAN WHAT IT WAS WORTH. JOHN IS A SEEMINGLY NICE GUY SO I AM QUITE SURPRISED THAT HE HAS CHOSEN NOT TO REIMBURSE ME AS HE VERBALLY PROMISED TO DO.

DID A GREAT JOB, HELPED WITH DESIGN. DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD, WHEN THE SAID THEY WOULD, AND HOW THEY SAID THEY WOULD! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
