"I was working for another contractor. I had taken the window to my shop . As I was removing the glass from the sash the glass cracked . I called the contractor right away and told him that the glass had cracked and i was ordering a new one and it would take about a week to come in. When the window came in i installed it . The window tint was a little darker than what was on the window you had to really look close to see the difference. The home owner addressed the window tint and i went to the supplier to see if there was any thing he could do. he told me that there tint on the old window had faded and that was the right tint for the Window. I broke my cardinal rule ,DON'T SUB CONTRACT . I have never had problems with my customers. I was caught between the general contractor and the home owner and they were not communicating honestly with each other . It cost me a lot of money because i was never paid for the job. Never sub contract!!!!"
