Behr Bros Workshops prides itself on REPAIRING and/or RESTORING furniture and wooden heirlooms as well as custom carpentry projects. We work with both residential and commercial clients, and apply the same attention to detail regardless of project size or complexity. Whether you need an old chair, table, trunk or other heirloom repaired or restored back to life or an extraordinary piece of custom furniture repurposed, Behr Bros Workshops is the company to call. We are 4th generation restoration experts (brothers Tom and Dan) that enjoy keeping the art of craftsmanship alive. We look forward to earning your business!

They said they could do what I asked with my kitchen table. They took the table and had it for months. When it finally was returned it looked like a high school shop project. Just terrible. I threw the table away and bought a new one. Worst experience ever!

In the planning of the project, I received the impression that upholstery was one of his professional skill areas. However, after the chair was cleaned, oiled and a new seat constructed (all of which was done with skill), the cushion and upholstery part of the project switched to being a shared responsibility. When we were actually measuring, cutting and applying the fabric, he said, " This is all you." The end result is a less than professional appearance.

"Guess I'm a bit stunned by the review. I communicate for a living and told you repeatedly that I am not an upholstery shop. I even sent you to my upholstery shop I use and you got your fabric. Once together we jointly decided to wrap the work I did and i think it looks fantastic. I wholeheartedly disagree that it looks less than professional but I guess perception is reality. BTW I spent nearly double the time I billed you for on building a support system to even out an unevenly built shaker rocker. I wish you all the best in your future travels and endeavors. Take care."

Tom was quick to reach out to me, easy to communicate with, and was able to diagnose and fix my issue within a week of our first conversation. Tom is a problem solver. We had a problem with our reclining sofa that no one could solve. Tom was determined and he found the problem and fixed it! So happy to have our recliner working again. Tom is friendly, courteous and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again!
