Angela Horner ~ One Great Realty

I contacted Angela via Zillow, she was one of the highest rated realtors listed and I liked the reviews she had received.  Angela walked me through each step of the home-buying process as a first-time home owner.  She was very knowledgeable about the housing market in the area, new builds, and properties for sale.  She answered all of my questions quickly, and functioned as my advocate in all negotiations with the sellers, often giving me advice or other perspectives I had not considered while negotiating.  After putting in an offer on an initial property and getting all the way through the home inspection only to find out that the sellers had no intention of fixing or providing credit for any of the defects, not only did Angela negotiate a mutual release from the purchase contract, but she also fought for and won the nearly $500 in home/pest/radon inspection costs I had incurred back from the seller.
I used a friend in the home-building/community management industry to bounce ideas off and to help inspect the initial property I put an offer on (the one mentioned above.)  He works with all sorts of agents and was very impressed with Angela and told me that she was a very good find.
The only reason I rated her a B in Responsiveness is that it took a little longer to receive replies and phone calls from her as I approached the closing date, but the caveat here is that I may have just been particularly needy with questions and ensuring everything was on track in the final two weeks.  I am very detail-oriented and like frequent updates to make sure nothing is being held up and everything is proceeding as scheduled.  She was very responsive during the home-showing and purchase contract/inspection response negotiation phases.  It would not stop me from recommending her to friends/family, or using her services in the future by any means!

Angela is such a gem!  I recommend her to anyone and everyone.  She is so pleasant to work with and extremely dedicated to finding a good fit for her clients.
She was instrumental when we were looking through houses and pointed out items that as first time home buyers our eyes weren't keen to seeing.  Angela also kept in mind our "wish list" when finding homes for us to check out.  She knew what we were drawn to before we recognized it and she was able to tailor our showing to our wants/needs. 
I honestly can't say enough good things about her except you won't regret your decision to hire her as your Realtor.

I cannot say enough positive things about Angela Horner and One Great Realty. I have worked with 4 realtors over the years, and Angela's level of service and were simply the very best - head and shoulders above the others. She specifically tailored her approach around my persistent need to also search for properties on my own. She focused on complimenting my style and adding the additional resources I did not have.
I was looking for a very specific home design in order to accommodate my children's special needs. Angela had very helpful ideas and took the time to really listen to my situation. During my search, I started geting side-tracked by other preferences that caught my attention. She was helpful in finding homes with as many of those other features available, but kept my biggest priorities at the forefront. That is not as easy task for a realtor to do. When it looked like the right home might not be available, she easily supported putting my search on hold. She never once gave me the impression she had worked "so hard for me already" or was worried that she might not get a commission. Her true priority was ensuring I found the right home for me. A realtor with that level of integrity is hard to find.
Ultimately, when I started to look again, it was Angela (not me) who found the perfect neighborhood/house for my family. At closing, there was unexpected on the seller's side. Angela was right by my side helping to assess the situation and find a win/win solution. I can't imagine going through that process without someone with such keen insight and professionalism. I've now been in my home for 6 months and truly could not be any happier! I referred my colleague and her husband to Angela Horner. They were also very pleased with her outstanding service. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Now I understand why her business is called One Great Realty!
