Our design experience with Adam was just exceptional! Besides just having an all around great personality, two things we like most about Adam are 1) his architectural and design creativity and 2) his willingness to listen to our ideas / feedback and iterate the design multiple times to arrive at an amazing finished product! The finished renderings and construction drawings have us all set up for a great renovation.

Adam did an excellent job in providing a quality design for my kitchen remodel. Adam was capable, thorough, friendly, and always professional. My small changes were quickly integrated into the overall plan. I had some special requirements, and Adam accommodated them seamlessly with good suggestions. He recommended a high quality construction company, and has followed up to make sure things are implemented well. I would strongly recommend Adam without reservation.

Adam has provided a design to transition our 1970’s traditional condo to an open floor plan. Walls have been removed and four previous spaces are now one. The kitchen and dining area maximize storage with new cabinets, drawers, pull out pantry, increased counter space and a large island. Adam was helpful in choosing appliances and offered helpful considerations regarding there location so we can both be involved in meal prep. The lighting plan for the kitchen and island is very detailed and includes different levels of lightening. I wanted the bathroom design to focus on style, safety and aging. Adam’s design includes walk-in showers level with the floor, foldable shower seat, adjustable shower bar, faucet control assessable from outside the shower, improved lighting andreinforced towel racks. We are satisfied with the plans and are looking forward to getting the work completed.

Adam is a creative professional with a keen eye for exceptional design. He provided us with expert guidance in designing our new kitchen and bath. Our meetings with him were focused and productive and he provided us with excellent drawings for our building project. We should finish our project by early spring 2019. I highly recommend using Adam Gibson Design.

It went very well. Adam had me look through books and magazines to figure out what my style was and what we liked. This was our first remodel so we were novices.
At times, he would push me to try things outside of my comfort zone ( open shelving in the kitchen) that I ended up loving.

He went out of his way to provide us with possible designs for our small bungalow kitchen.  He was extremely professional and provided a lot of value for our job.

Adam came up with a beautiful design for our kitchen which was not easy because the layout was outdated. He opened up walls and constructed a bi-level rectangular circular island that is incredibly gorgeous. It will be the focal point of our house as well as the hot spot where our family will spend most of our time together. He is very professional and straight forward.

A well deserved PAGE OF HAPPINESS. We interviewed, and often briefly worked with, six other kitchen designers before embracing Adam Gibson as the architect for our complete kitchen and dining room overhaul. After almost abandoning this project, we finally had hope after finding Adam.
     He quickly provided us with a plan that reinvigorated our enthusiasm to finally move forward with this big project (expected to be ~$100,000). Adam's plan included numerous ideas the other designers did not remotely touch-on. We were thrilled that someone finally figured out what we, and apparently six other designers, could not.
     Adam brilliantly redesigned our inadequate kitchen and dining room into an aesthetically pleasing and highly utilitarian living/community space. He rendered meticulously detailed professional drawings. Each drawing separately displayed overhead view, elevations, lighting plan, lighting switch and electrical plan. 3D drawings were also provided. When asked, he advised on interior design, and recommended vendors with which he had personal experience.
     Not only did Adam solve our design dilemma, he pleasantly surprised us with his expediency. The very few and minor changes we made to his plans were quickly incorporated into new drawings, and the revised plans were made available to us almost immediately. If a question arose concerning design, he eloquently explained his reasoning to our greatest satisfaction.
     Now that our project is underway, we realize how well spent this money was with Adam Gibson Design. We figure several thousand dollars in building expenditures have been saved due to these exemplary plans, and the value added to our house will be substantial. We give our highest recommendation to Adam Gibson Design, and would use his services again with without any hesitation.

After a dissatifying experience with a free design from a cabinetry showroom, we asked Adam to redesign our kitchen, which was to include moving a doorway and tearing out two walls. Adam is acustomed to working with high-end clients but happily agreed to work with us on our beat-up 1952 ranch to redesign our kitchen on a modest budget of $1000 for a floorplan. He came to our home, measured, listened, and came up with a three variations of a different layout. We are very detail oriented, and he spent weeks working with us, tweaking the design and trying different things until he addressed every conceivable issue. He is very patient and laid back, just a nice, down to earth guy. He's not afraid to tell you if you have an idea that won't really work, which is what we paid him to do, but he is equally good at taking your best ideas and finding a way to make them work. He never makes you feel that any question or concern you might have is trivial. In this case we were dealing with a small kitchen with four doorways, and hardly any counterspace. He came up with a beautiful open layout with more than twice the counterspace including a spacious peninsula. For $1000, we were expecting only a floorplan, but he was able to provide 3-D renderings and elevations for the same price. We then asked for additional work to include a lighting and electrical plan and paid $350 for the extra work. Because of the way we (as a married couple) worked, the process took the whole summer and Adam never seemed impatient with us or asked for money up front, even though I brought it up more than once. Once or twice during the back and forth we had to wait a few days for him to get back to us on questions, but he was always apologetic, and he always turned around the next set of drawings quickly, within a week and often sooner. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone doing any kind of kitchen or bath remodel, regardless of your budget. He is a CKD and CBD and is worth every penny.
